It's better than having a waffle brain. .......... It's an inside joke. I took this class... where I had to learn to... "cooperate" with men (me hating men who act like dick-heads is against military law apparently -_-) and they explained how our minds are different. They compared a man's brain to a waffle.

No. -_- Google completely sucks. The words are totally off and they don't do sentence structure right.

I think I've probably landed the coolest job ever. Working as a video engineer at a music studio. Monday I got to spend the afternoon in the studio hanging out with Artemis Pyle from Lynard Skynard (crazy guy, lol). The past couple days I've been working on a music video for a singer named Andrew Reed. I'll post it here when it's finished. Anyways, I really love this job.

A little late but congrats from me anyway! big_smile You know I'm good for it.  smile

There were times when I wouldn't come on for weeks. One point I thought I'd have to just have to sat goodbye. But I pushed through.  smile I still have problems coming on sometimes because we're so overloaded on certain days.

We do have free time more than you'd actually think (even though it may be for only 20 minutes), especially on our work-out days and not our job days. Job days... well it's a bit harder to fit y'all into my schedule sometimes. But I do try.  wink

Hey It's not fair to write in language which nobody understands. How would you feel if I started posting in Serbian?

I'm fluent in a variety of different languages. I may be a little off on my Serbian and German a bit because I don't use it as often as my Spanish or French (etc, etc) but pokušati mene.

I also know a little Swedish. Not too much but enough to survive if I go there again.  wink

Seriously just found this. I like it.  wink

Vengeance of the Force (Sith Only): Driven by their inner rage and other dark cravings, a Sith trained in the arts of the Witches of Dathomir can use their own blood to fuel a frenzy. The dark magic of the Dathomirian Witches possess the willing Sith host for a time, consuming their blood while augmenting the Sith's power on immense levels.

Oh, just because I'm a Sith you automatically assume I know where his heart is. That is so sterotype you know? I mean for real. Not all Sith are bad like that. Not all of us crave power or... or remove people's hearts just for the heck of it okay? I mean it's not like we enjoy it or something. Like we like to see them squirm and beg for mercy... *trails off*

Ah, who am I kidding, of course we do. Here take it back if you want it that bloody bad.  tongue  wink

Starr wrote:

Gar lisa jorhaa'ir Mando'a?

gar = you
liser = able to, can
jorhaa'ir = speak, talk
Mando'a = Mandalorian language

So translated it would read "You can speak Mando'a?"

I forgot to add here that tion is an interrogative clitic, used to mark a sentence as a question (usually placed after the subject) and is never merged with other words. The correct version would be:

Gar tion lisa jorhaa'ir Mando'a?

You need to work on your Mando'a a bit. You're getting words confused. Ad means son or daughter. Not whatever you wanted it too.

A'lek, gedeteyar. A'gar ne lis'hora'ni, di'kut. Ni'duraa. Gar pehi'ba Mando'ade de'jorhaa Mando'a ti'ani'ur mirshe. Aruetti. Kote lo'shabs'ul narit. Ne shab'rudu'ni.

And yes that actually does say something everybody. lol That's how much a freaky fan I am. I learned the entire language.  tongue  wink

Signatures are limited to 100 characters and 3 lines. If it is longer than that I would suggest saving the picture or gif and then downloading it to a photohosting site such as fileave or freeimagehosting.net, etc.

Highlight and copy the direct link to the pic then paste in your signature. Should be under 100 characters and you should be good to go.

Better yet. Just give me the link here and I'll do it for you if you want. I'm an admin. I have access to your account and can set your sig up for you.

Your translation is very rough but I think I know what you're trying to say. If you're trying to ask me a question then you've kinda lost me with your words.

gar = your (can be used as "you")
kar'taylir = know
kote =glory
meg= that
Mando'a = Mandalorian language

Translated very roughly it may read "Do you know the glory of Mando'a?"

When you do Mando'a though you may merge certain words like you would with a language such as French. Such as dar'jetti which literally means "no longer a Jedi" but is used to mean "Sith". Depedning on sentence structure and stuff you usually also remove or change the ending of auxiliaries like in a number of other languages. Like this:

Gar lisa jorhaa'ir Mando'a?

gar = you
liser = able to, can
jorhaa'ir = speak, talk
Mando'a = Mandalorian language

So translated it would read "You can speak Mando'a?"

It's just like any other normal language. It has all kinds of rules and you got to learn it from the ground up. Trying to take words from a sheet and merge them into a sentence is not going to work because people who actually know it can tell.

Orcor shakes his head quickly. "Oh, no. Not Sith... much older. Far more... powerful." His eyes barely focus on George's face as if -once again -he is not seeing George but something far beyond. "Be careful, Guardian..." he begins wearily. "The Vél'inan are not ones... to be triffled with. But I'm afraid fate... has already choosen your path this day... and it may lead you to... to nothing but conflict with them. Pain, loss, and... and betrayal are all in store for you... young Jedi, but do not lose... your faith so easily. The night is always darkest... just before the dawn."

His head turns sharply to Bao. "Guard carefully... that which has been entrusted to you... and your accomplices, Zabrak... with your life if you must. And let not... the darkness overwhelm you."

Orcor pushes once again against Mikaela and now also against George, pushing them away, urging them to leave. "No more questions... the more you speak... the faster death rushes... upon you. Leave... now! If I die by those beasts... then I have served by purpose... and the Sa'vunin shall have their... salvation..."

Orcor touches Mikaela's face one last time. "I have done... what I could... dear girl. Tell them..." he stops, tears forming in his eyes. "Tell them... I'm sorry... if it was not enough..."

Quick vocabulary lesson:

The Nex Addo (Vertoes) speak an ancient language known to the species as Khenan which means "the words of our fathers". Along the way new words will be introduced here and there so I'll post the meanings so you don't get lost.  smile Note: These aren't Latin words. They're just... complicated. lol

Vél'inan: (plural) dark ones (lit); usurpers - Vertoes which have become corrupt and seek the destruction of the Supreme Commander and the Sa'vunin.

Sa'vunin: (plural) the people - Vertoes who remain loyal to the Supreme Commander.
