Sometimes I'm picky... sometimes I'm not. It all depends. tongue But whatever you want to do here works with me. A new character is always welcome or have your character just pop in somewhere like he's been waiting for his cue. ^_^

And if you want to go chasing after the Second I'm cool with that as well. I believe I can cut his feeding a little sort to have some epic battle with a Force-user. Y'all are mighty tastier to one as he after all.  wink

Just a quick little run through...

Mandalorians: Mandalore was killed by Revan in a one-on-one duel. Shortly afterwards the Mandalorian fleet was almost completely annihilated by the activation of Revan’s secret Mass Shadow Generator on Malachor V. What stragglers do remain are returning to their Mandalorian worlds to lick their wounds.

Kovasn: Recently discovered Mandalorian “super soldiers”. Products of Demagol’s twisted experiences and Sith interference, Kovasn’s are extremely dangerous combatants. Each is an expert in a certain area of combat though not limited to such. Are Force sensitive, able to harness the Force as easy as the most trained Jedi Masters and able to wield a lightsaber (or any weapon for that matter) with extraordinary skill.

Throughout the war they have switched loyalties a number of different times, playing the field to their upmost advantage. Interesting enough, this change does not take place because the Kovasn favor the ‘winning side’... why it does, however, still remains a mystery. It is also entirely unclear what the Kovasn’s true motives are in this war but it is best not to underestimate them in any situation. They are powerful allies and dangerous enemies. Plan accordingly.

Akson and Xvan: The only two Kovasns who were not ‘tricked’ by Darth Traya. Apparently ties were made with the Jedi far before the Mandalorian Wars and now these warriors seek the aid of the Council to hunt down and kill the Sith Triumvirate and Darth Mortis.

Daar, Rotel, Zorvon, and Kilax: The remaining Kovasn who were forced into helping Darth Traya by way of a complex mind trick. While these warriors made no ties to the Jedi, with the Mandalorian fleet crushed, the Kovasn’s allegiance shifts towards the Republic. Although their help would not be accepted the Kovasn decide to use other, annonymous means to assist the crumbling Republic. Whether they accept the offer given to them by Darth Mortis... remains to be seen...

Revan: Revan moves back towards Republic space. Her fleet hovers near Foerost where a large portion of the Republic’s remaining fleet lies. It is her plan to either capture or destroy these vessels. Having uncovered the secrets of the Star Forge some time before now (which I know isn’t canon but I made errors and had to work around), Revan waits for her new armada to arrive and crush the weakened Republic.

Darth Mortis: A dark, extremely powerful being who’s origins are a complete mystery mostly due to the fact that the creature predates even the Republic itself. His ability to survive for so long suggest he is a type of brutal and savage Force vampire although no one has ever seen him ‘feed’.

Mortis harnesses the darkside on immense levels but he gives no allegiance to the Sith. In fact, the creature seems far more interested in his own agenda. Mortis has often expressed no care for the Republic, simply calling in a petty foundation of men. His distain for the Jedi is obvious, however.

The Second: The second ‘apprentice’ of Darth Mortis. A deadly and very capable Jedi assassin. Infiltrated the Jedi Temple and murdered four Jedi Masters. Kavar was able to detect the intruder and confronted him but the assassin managed to escape, killing two more Jedi Masters in the process. Driven mad by the power he consumed from the Jedi Masters, the Second now runs rampid in Coruscant’s streets, killing and feeding as he pleases.

The First: The first ‘apprentice’ of Darth Mortis. Yet to be introduced but he’s coming soon. Thought I’d go ahead and throw him in there. ~_^

Lori: The Jedi Exile (yet to be exiled). The target of both Mortis’s sick obsession and Malak’s wrath.

Well I think that about does it for all the people I’m kinda throwing around in this RPG. lol So, yeah, the plot -although sometimes complex and constantly twisting around -is pretty basic right now: Revan’s moving in to crush the Republic, Akson and Daar are trying to persuade the Council to hunt down the Triumvirate, crazy assassin killing people on Coruscant, Lori’s headed back to Coruscant (to face the inevitable wrath of the Council), Mortis wants to kill Yi’shar and get Lori back and is trying to use the remaining Kovasn as pawns in perhaps a much bigger scheme.... o_O SPOILER! tongue Muahahahaha!

You want to throw your tidbit in there LSM? ^_^

...Telos Security Citadel; Subsection 2, Bay 7-A...

The computerized female voice seems to echo in the hanger bay, broadcasting loud enough so that the crew onboard the Nightblade can cleary hear. “YT-2400 lightfrieghter mercenary ship now docking in Bay 7-A. Ship authentication code 950-26-306; Nightblade. Alert: ship logs indicate captives onboard. Completed bounties: one Togorian; one Iridonian. Warning: logs indicate both species to be extremely hostile. Security personnel are advised to exercise caution.”

A squad of five security personnel surround the docking ship. The security workers begin to search the outside of the ship for abnormalities such a leaks, blaster scorches, or tracking devices as the bay’s AI scans the ship’s interior for other issues. The cold female voice quickly returns.

“Preliminary scans complete. Ship interior clean. Onboard personnel logged: one Echani, one Twi’lek, one Arkanian, one Kel Dor. Onboard captives contained. Nightblade proceed with docking.”

...Nightblade...

Cat looks over at Raid and Ash as they completely dock with the security citadel. She tugs on the collar around Raid’s neck. “Time for the show,” she purrs.

Raid chuckles, attempting to swat her hand away in a playful manner. His action is hindered by the cuffs around his hands, connected to each other by a steel-like bar. The cuffs are then connected by chains to the submissive collar around his neck.

The submissive collar acted as a form of restraint for strong individuals. The two thin, needle-like prongs on the inside of the collar sank into the neck and emitted altered natural hormones which caused a number of effects including drowsiness, weakness, and loss of mental strength. Basically the collared captive lost the will and means to fight.

However, Raid and Ash weren’t actually wearing submissive collars. It was the easiest way to set up the security personnel for a fall.

“Just do your part,” Raid replies.

“I always meet your standards. I’m sure I’ll perform marvelous,” she adds seductively, before leaning around him to press the button which releases the ship’s ramp.

The plan was simple. While the team knew where the assassins were striking, they didn’t know how or when. Cat had estimated it would be no more than three but they were planning on destroying the Jedi Temple in Telos’s polar region. They’d need explosives.

Cat, knowing the underground on every planet as she seemed to, would be able to track down exactly what they were planning on using. This would determine how and allow the team to plan accordingly. Raid and Ash were to draw the assassin’s attention by stirring up trouble and ‘killing’ the ‘Jedi’ bounty hunter which came after them.

Once they had the assassins’ attention they would work on involving themselves in the plot. It would be extremely difficult and deadly, should the assassins discover their motives but Raid and Ash were capable men. They’d more than likely be able to pull it off.

Should things go south and they fail, Cat always had a plan B.

Deicide grins, leaping into the air and twisting his body in a side-flip manner before he instantly dissolves into smoke, not longer visible amidst the chaos of particles and debris swarming around Vector and Sara.

A psychotic chuckle echoes faintly in Vector’s thoughts. “I’ll make this quick...”

Vector feels the shift in the Force, the sudden difference in pressure around him and yet he has no time to react. As he turns a form partially solidifies behind Sara and a tentacle hardens into a stake before he can blink, driving through her left shoulder.

Sara cries out in pain, grasping the sharp end of the creature’s tentacle which now protrudes out of the front of her shoulder. Deicide swings his tentacle upward, lifting Sara into the air on it in an impale-like fashion. He then swings her backwards, his tentacle returning to its smoke form, the action throwing Sara to the ground a good ways away from them.

His body then immediately dissolves into thin air once more and his voice returns to Vector’s thoughts. “You’re wide open, Jedi... I can see your every move! Trying to protect that girl and look what ended up happening. Such a pity.... You’ll have to do better than that if you want to live, Jedi!”

... Sacrilege ...

Yi’shar’s lightsaber blade had connected with the smoke demon’s shoulder. Or so he had thought. Instead, Sacrilege shoulder had immediately dropped its solid shape, Yi’shar’s blade passing through nothing but thickened smoke. She faces the boy now, her shoulder regaining it’s solid form.

“Such strength for a boy,” she begins, the wisping smoke tentacles along her back lengthening and slowly slithering towards Yi’shar like venomous snakes. “Oh the fun it will be to crush it out of your pathetic body and devour that tasty soul.”

Suddenly the tentacles harden and turn blood red, sharpening into thick stakes as they drive towards Yi’shar simultaneously.

... Rane ...

Rane gets to his feet, shaking, relieving his fur of the dust and blood which clings to it. He glares at Viinum. It was impossible for Rane to fully know the true capabilities of this man’s new body. For all he knew Viinum could be toying with Rane as well, waiting for him to reveal his strength only to squash him like some insignificant bug.

No. No matter how hard Viinum tried to hide it, Rane could sense an air on uneasiness. It was in the stance he took, how his hands impatiently clenched and unclenched. He wasn’t ready for Rane. Wasn’t on the same level. He was counting on his body to hold out longer.

Rane was still flesh and blood and he only had so much of the two. His body reproduced both at an alarming speed. However, if he lost too much within a short amount of time his body would refuse the healing process. Rane would have to be careful, control the rage enough to focus on defending his body as well as ripping Viinum’s apart.

Rane nods, agreeing with himself, his inner beast persuaded -for the moment -that this course of action will ensure it’s survival longer than mere brute force. His muscles harden beneath his skin, readying to take the next blows. He watches Viinum carefully as he slowly advances.

But then... Rane stops, the smell of blood singeing his nostrils. No.... His eyes desperately search for her in the distance. His inner beast roars to life, demanding retribution as he watches one of Viinum’s minions impale her and throw her to the ground like a rag doll. Rane roars, taking a step back as he thrashes his head about. The rage... uncontrollable!

His pupils dilate, the whites of his eyes almost completely disappearing. He claws at his muzzle, ripping away at the flesh there in an attempt to claw away the unbearable pain. His teeth extend, becoming more jagged and resembling those of the smoke demons, hardening and gleaming in the light like steel knives.

He arches his back briefly as the bulging veins of his body glow silver, the claws along his hands and feet consumed by the metallic blood which now burns through his veins. Viinum would smile if he had the necessary facial feature. Yes. Yes! This is what he was waiting for! Such power! Such uncontrolled, raw power!

Rane leans forward with harsh momentum, thrashing his head violently now, arching his back so that his shoulders are forced together, the muscles in his back beginning to spasm. He reaches back, shredding fur, skin, and flesh as his spine is engulfed in liquid flames. Spikes emerge, penetrating the flesh along his back and flow out in sheets of metal fur.

He shivers, his body being completely consumed by his power. The majority of his fur disappears under a sea of armored skin which surprising resembles Viinum’s only it takes on a silver bluish hue. Tuffs of fur along his body are replaced by sheets of metal which when his body is arched at a certain angle act as thick spikes.

Rane falls to his knees, his head hanging as in defeat, his breathing ragged as his body finishes adjusting to the final stage of his Change. The beast within him seems to purr with satisfaction, aching for the fight to come, the chance ravage and slaughter once again! Tendrils of red slowly begin to sneak across Rane’s darkened eyes as he struggles to meet Viinum’s gaze.

His vision blurs as the darkness begins to seep in and surround him, as the beast possesses his body and takes control. His heart races as he feels the dark creature slowly devouring his soul, merging them. He... cannot resist...

Rane manages one last sane thought as everything fades to black.

Forgive me... mi karta.

I understand it!

You see another woman and you start thinking, "I wonder what she's thinking about?" and then she looks at you or you get that light bulb above your head like in cartoons and you start thinking, "OMG! I bet she's thinking about me." In the meantime she notices you looking at her and she's thinking, "I bet that chick is thinking I'm thinking about her when in reality I'm thinking about her thinking about me."

I like to confuse people!

Is it really? Without sanity you don't really worry about stuff like dying. And I've always heard it said that the soldier on the field who recklessly rushes in lives to see another day, while the one who hesitates and cringes at the thought of dying is the first to go.

So I think no sanity works for me.  tongue
