 Bastila ShanExile (Female/Light Side)Revan (Female/Light Side)

Author’s Notes: This is the final part of Precious Memories. This is Part Four. I suggest if you haven’t read Parts 1, 2, 3 yet, READ THEM FIRST BEFORE PART FOUR! The reason why I wrote Precious Memories: When you play Female Jedi Exile and meet the Disiciple (a.k.a Mical), he seems to recognize her and realize who she was. They must have shared a childhood together, maybe as friends or secret lovers. He said he wanted no other master but the Exile. He asks her to let her travel with him. Therefore, triggering the Atton Rand and Mical the Disciple possessive relationship with the Exile. It’s like a love that could never be. Enjoy and please tell me what you think!

Andria Trelyve: age 16

Mical Ducan: age 15

Ariel Revan: age 25

Malak Kelto: age 25

Precious Memories – Why Must All Good Things Come to A End?

Dantooine: Jedi Training Academy

Outside of the Jedi Academy – Court Yard

Andria Trelyve stared blankly at Malak Kelto as he turned and walked away. He left to rejoin Ariel Revan in the Council Chambers for what reason they need to be there. He just told her to meet him and the others at the lake away from the Court Yard.

What is going on here? Are things going to change now?

Whatever is going on, Andria will have to find this out herself tonight. She sneaked out of her room at the right time. She wore a robe to over her sleeping gown against the chilly night air and put her lightsaber in her belt next to her side. What she didn’t realize what awaited her in her destiny as she exited the doors. She is now what changes the future for everyone around her. Without Andria realizing it, Mical Ducan was up at the time and followed her to the meeting spot. He followed in her shadow carefully, masking his presence so she couldn’t see or sense him. He had a bad feeling that Andria would be in danger of being corrupted.

“Ah, Andria Trelyve. Good to see you came at last,” Malak Kelto greeted her as she walked into their camp site. The night was pitch dark and only lit by the glow of a camp fire. ”See Revan, I told you Andria would come.” There are other Jedi gathered here too. Some of them were in Andria’s classes. Others she recognized hanging around the Academy. She sees Ariel Revan, Cariaga Sin, Talvon Esan, Nisotsa, Xaset Terep, and Bastila Shan were present at the time.

“I really do not care, Malak. Go away Andria.” Ariel Revan replied as she drained her glass of Tarisan ale. She still looked upset as before but worse this time.

“Rev, don’t be like that!” Malak objected as he snatched her glass and tossed it away. ”Sorry about that, Andria. Forgive Revan, she hasn’t been feeling well these days and has drinking problems. Make yourself comfortable. Sit anywhere please.” He grabbed her hand and seated her on a rock.

“I do not have a drinking problem – I’m fine! I’m just mad that the Council didn’t want to help us. Said that we should wait before taking action. Well, we shouldn’t wait to fight back while innocents and soldiers on many worlds die. The Republic needs the Jedi.” Revan snarled as she poured herself another glass.

Andria tried to comfort Revan. She knocked the glass out of her hand, spilling the contents on the ground. ”Ariel, please calm down your anger. Alcohol doesn’t solve anything. Remember the Jedi Code. There is no emotion…”

“There is peace. I know and I don’t care,” Revan picked up the dropped glass. “You should see what the situation is like out there. It’s enough to break a person’s will and heart. If the Council won’t do anything then perhaps some Jedi will.”

“And that’s why I called each one of you here tonight,” Malak announced. ”Revan and I are secretly recuiting and enlisting Jedi to our cause. We’re forming an army under Revan’s banner.”

Malak let his words hang in the air for a while before explaining from the begining. Revan let Malak speak for her when she sombered over some more Tarsian ale. She drank one glass after another.

“The Republic is at war with the Mandalorians. The Jedi Council cautions patience but do not heed their words. The Republic will fall if we do not act now. Already the Mandalorians have taken three systems along the Outer Rim. They will only grow more powerful in time. Come stand with Revan and I. We will use our might to help the Republic in its time of need. Together, we will battle this menace.”

“We should listen to the will of the Council,” Bastila Shan argued.

“The Jedi Council is wise, but will take too long to deal with this threat. We must act now to stop the Mandalorians,” Malak continued. “I have heard of every single one of you. Your masters speak well of you, of your skills in battle. Join us.”

The young Jedi debated among themselves and they reached a decision. Cariaga Sin was one of them to speak up. “A good enough reason to fight. I sense this will increase our power. We will all fight to stop the Mandalorians. To do what the Council could not accomplish.” Andria and Bastila remain undecided whether to fight or not.

“We should listen to the will of the Council,” Bastila repeated. “I’ll never join you! That is my decision.” She made her choice as she left.

Revan burped loudly before speaking. “Heh, figures. Forget Bastila – we don’t need her. She doesn’t seem to understand that the Council seems content to watch, to debate, while entire systems fall to the Mandalorians. If we don’t act now, there may be no Republic army to assist in the future.”

“We could’ve used Bastila’s Battle Meditation in the war. Oh well. But I sense you will join us, Andria,” Malak stated. “You didn’t tell us what you are going to do.”

“I think it will be a mistake. A mistake we’ll regret later in our lives.” Andria said.

“Who we truly are is defined by our actions. To deny your actions is to deny yourself, your nature. You show weakness in your words. It’s within our power to end the war ourselves. The Council will choose to debate behind closed doors while planets burned.”

“We have to give them a chance to reveal their plan,” Andria told Malak.

“Yeah, sure. Tell that to those we could’ve saved from the bloodshed. Wait for the Council to make their plan, while we fight on the front lines on the battlefield,” Revan replied bitterly. She tossed her Tarisan ale bottle aside after she found it empty and grabbed another beverage. “Their vaunted wisdom bred only inaction. And that would’ve led to destruction greater than anything born of the dark side.”

Andria stopped her, placing a hand on her shoulder. “You have enough to drink. You’re not feeling like yourself. Give me that bottle.”

“No, shove off!” Revan slurred as she opened the bottle and drank from it. “Leggo of me!”

“What has happened to you, Ariel?” Andria asked herself as Revan finished the alcohol.

“We are going through hard times,” Malak said sadly. “Hard times change people. Will you fight alongside us?”

Clearly, she was confused of what or what not to say. Before Andria could give her answer, Mical popped out of his hiding place. He walked into their camp site. He has heard enough of this. “No, she will not! Not when I’m here to say anything about it!”

“An intruder!” Revan yelled as everyone activated their lightsabers, shining brightly in the darkness, ready in their battle stances. Ready to strike to kill.

Andria quickly stood in front of Mical, arms stretched out protectly, shielding him from everyone’s posing threats. “Please everyone don’t resort to violence! Don’t do this! He’s not an intruder and I will never join you!” She shouted as she waited impatiently for everyone to put away their lightsabers. They have not. There was a pregnant silence, the only background noise going on are the orchestra humming of lightsabers. Andria then activated her green lightsaber. “Everyone put away your weapons! I will protect him even if it cost me my life! Don’t make me hurt you!”

“Andria,” Mical whispered, amazed.

“Very well,” Malak said finally as he deactivated his lightsaber and soon everyone followed suit. “If that is your choice, then so be it. I’m telling you that you will see things our way sooner or later. When that day comes, know it’s never too late to join us. Come back to us when you truly made your choice. It will be never too late for you, remember that, sweet Andria. That I promise you.” He gave her a sad smile.

“Is that a threat?” Andria asked, still not convinced as she held up her lightsaber. “You think I still haven’t decided?”

“No, just telling you the true fact,” Malak stated as he bowed and turned away. “I do care for you and don’t wish to see you hurt in any way. You cannot just stand by nd do nothing. Andria, keep a watchful eye out on the holonet. Someday we will meet again. Let’s go.”

When Revan, Malak, and the rest of the Jedi were gone from view, Andria deactivated her lightsaber. It’s nearly sunrise, morning the next day.

“If you want to fight against the Mandalorians, let me fight and die alongside you.” Mical said.

Without taking a glance at Mical, she said, “I’m not going to fight. Even if I was, you’re not coming with me. I wouldn’t forgive myself if you kille. Malak’s right though, I can’t stand by and do nothing while people die. I don’t know what to do.”

War swept throughout the galaxy. It was a dangerous time for impresionable ones in the Jedi Order. While the Council discussed how to approach the situation, an irresponsible Jedi Knight Ariel Revan and her closet friend took it upon themselves to rally more Jedi to join them and the Republic in their crusade against the Mandalorians. Many flocked to Revan’s side against the Mandalorians. After watching the holonet, Andria saw the horrors of war and pretty soon she was no exception herself. The Mandalorians have proven themselves to be an unstoppable force towards the Republic. The Republic needed the Jedi.

“What?!” Artis exclaimed in a feverish worry after Andria told her what her decision was. Andria intends to leave the Academy to go fight alongside Revan and Malak. ”You can’t mean to do this.”

They were in Andria’s room and living quarters. Andria was packing up all she had left in her possession into a packing bag. She stands firm by her decision. She hasn’t said a word to Artis for a while and continued to pack. Artis told Andria that she shouldn’t go off to war but Andria wouldn’t listen.

When Andria finished packing, she finally spoke but she couldn’t bear to see on the expression on Artis’s face, “People are dying on the Outer-Rim, Master Artis! Revan needs all the help she can get if the Mandalorians are to be stopped!”

“You think the Council doesn’t want that?! Revan wants a quick solution. But a war of this magnitude… It’s dangerous to rush in!”

Andria didn’t say anything. She threw her bag over her shoulder and started to walk towards the doorway.

Artis reached out to Andria and held her arm gently, holding her back. “Listen to me, Andria. I know you mean well, but you’re not going to help anyone by dying on some battlefield. Here at least, you and I, we can help the Council with whatever research they need to make the right decision.”

Andria turned around quickly and slapped Artis in the face. Artis pulled back her hand in pain. In a burning rage, Andria said, “If you’d rather stay here like a coward, then go ahead! But don’t tell me what I can or can’t do!” Then she gasped at what she said and just done. She muttered, “I’m so sorry. Please forgive me, Master.” Andria turned her heel and left the room leaving Artis in pain. Just not physically, but mentally.

Andria’s words wrenched in Artis’s heart, was enough to plant doubt within her. But when she came to her sense, she wept. She hoped upon hope that Andria wasn’t beyond redemption.

“Andria! Wait up!” Mical called out to her.

Andria stopped dead in her tracks but didn’t turn to look at Mical.

“Are you going to leave before saying goodbye?” Mical asked.

“Yes. If I do that, I’ll lose the will to go on.” She dropped her bag.

“Can you turn around and look at me then?”

“No.”

“I know you can,” Mical turned her around and embraced Andria. “I understand this is a hard time for you and you do what you have to do. I’m not here to stop you or here to tell you this is wrong. Whatever your choice is, I’ll support it completly. All I ask is for you to be careful and come home safety.”

“You think I’ll die on the battlefield, don’t you?”

“No, I saying this because this is the last moment we can have together before you leave. I’ll wait for you as long as it takes. I still want you for my Master and I’ll take no other Jedi than you. Until then, I’ll try to help the Jedi Council.”

“But where would I find you after the war is over?”

“Don’t worry about that. I’ll find you. I’ll search to the ends of the galaxy until I’ll have you in my arms again.” Mical released Andria.

Andria yanked on her necklace and gave it to Mical. “Please keep it. It’s something to remember me by.”

Mical folded Andria’s fingers over it. “Keep it. I gave it to you. So it’s yours. I don’t need anything to remember you by. Our time together shall be my precious memories.” He bowed to her. “Goodbye Andria. May we meet again.”

Andria watched him walked away then she ran to him. “Wait Mical, there’s something else I need to say!”

Mical turned around. “Yes?”

Andria didn’t say anything but instead wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed Mical on the lips. Mical’s eyes grew wide in surpise then closed and he wrapped his arms around her. She broke off the kiss unexpectually and pulled away from him. “Sorry, that was very wrong for me to do. I- I… just needed to get that off my chest.” She blushed, embrassed.

“No, it wasn’t,” Mical walked closer to Andria. “It felt natural to me.” He brought his face closer to hers until their lips met. “I love you.” He whispered against her lips.

“I love you, too,” Andria hugged him again. “But love isn’t the Jedi way.”

“Does it matter now?”

“No, not right now at least. We can worry about the future when this is all over.”

“When this is over, I want to-”

“I know what you are going to say but that can wait. Right now the galaxy needs to be saved.”

“Alright,” Mical Ducan kissed her again briefly. “Until we meet again.” He gave her back her bag.

“May we meet again.”

Andria Trelyve got the first transport leaving Dantooine that was heading straight to the frontlines of the Mandalorian Wars.

 The End

********************************************************************

By the way, there is a sequel to Precious Memories. It’s called Bonds of Fate: Andria Trelyve as known as Jedi Exile. Jedi Exile’s point of view during the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Sith War. You’ll be surpised of what was going on and why I choose the name RevanBodyguard. I’ll shorten the title though. I don’t know when to submit it or when to begin. Maybe after I finish my stories What Goes On In Atton Rand’s Mind. Atton Rand is my favorite character and I like him. Mine! I liked him more than the Disciple=D
