I dunno, I have a habit of waiting a few months for the price to come down on games, so if the reviews are all bloody awful, I might take the warning.

Well, I say that, you're probably right. But I like to think I learnt my lesson after ME3 and literally everyone saying don't play past Marauder Shields...

Also what can they do in terms of a KOTOR sequel and have it still be KOTOR? They made a canon Revan & Meera due to TOR storyline, we know how that ends.

Hang on, you hated that one more than The Last Jedi?

I mean, I've seen worse films than Rise of Skywalker (admittedly not saying much as I saw the live action Thunderbirds (pro tip, don't)) and there was some cliché stuff but at the same time I'm glad they avoided some of the other more annoying cliché stuff I was expecting from them.

Or as boyf said afterwards: "Well, at least he got dead."

I like to think they've hit the limits of how bad they can get... but then I'm just cynical enough to never assume that.

On a related note, it is great fun to wind up one of the other guys at work by just mentioning The Last Jedi. He hated it so much.

Eh, I feel a lot of games don't give you any customisation. Or they say you can, but what they mean is that you get to pick what skills/talents/etc you want to learn as you level up.

Apparently it's too much to ask to be able to chose skin/hair colour and maybe gender.

I get that not every game is going to give you DA Inquisition levels of customisation, but a couple of basics (especially for games claiming to be RPGs) would be nice.

This is where you tell me Fallen Order isn't claiming to be an RPG...

Everything I've heard has been in the form of official reviews, I don't know anyone who's played it yet. We'll probably get it when it's come down a little in price and the inevitable bugs have been ironed out.

(And I've stopped being grumpy about being unable to customise the main character.)
