Yeah, some are ok, especially if you want to reply to the original topic of the thread or start a new part of it.

Agreed. The movie was a stand alone movie, where as the books had an on going story spanning 5 books. Then of course the ages and appearance of the characters in the movie were much different than the book. The movie did not do justice to them at all, just like Eragon.

"You know that I have always encouraged you to find your own path, but this is madness."

Tran was pacing the small room, obviously disturbed. A young man, barely an adult, was unloading the contents of a drawer into a travel case.

"You have said yourself that the Jedi Code is inconsistent and weak," the boy says. "I am going to find the truth."

"Wait until your training is complete," Tran urges. "I have much still to teach you. Knowledge that will protect you. You do not yet understand the Force or even yourself."

"I know enough to learn for myself. What I felt of the darkside in that cave has only left me with questions, and the answers are not here."

Tran sighs.

"I will not stop you. As much as I want you to stay, you have reached the point where you must make your own decisions. But understand this, any decision that you make has consequences. And you must live with them forever. I cannot protect you or guide you if you leave."

"That is why I have to go. I have to understand and grow on my own," the young man says. He locks the case and hoists it onto his back. Turning to Tran, he smiles. "I know the danger of the darkside. But I have to understand the nature of the Force before I can commit to becoming a Seer. I will return."

He shakes Tran's hand. Tran nods, then hands him a small package.

"Take this with you. It is an heirloom I have long treasured. May its legacy guide you and remind you of what you learned here, Li."

"Sir, we are nearing Coruscant."

Tran shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. "Very good, captain."

Could he have helped avert all of this?

...........Meanwhile........................

Bao takes one last look at Orcor, his final command sinking into his mind. Then he grabs Mikaela's arm and urges her to leave.

"We have to find out what is going on! Our master is gone."

"I agree, Cat," Kip replied. "We must avoid detection. It would only hinder our abilities to protect the Enclave, and many members would probably die anyway. They likely know most (if not all) of the security measures in place at the Enclave now. I've instructed Beren to add our own devices, independently powered and linked to the ship, not the Enclave systems. While he is setting those up, we'll meet up with your contact."

"You will each need a cover. Beren is a service technician updating most of the equipment in the Enclave. Jentress is a new knight transferring from Yavin. I will stay in the city or with the ship. I don't want to make my presence known to the Jedi, even under an alias, before we know what we are up against."

Apparently they found his courier about a year or so ago, and have been trying to pin down the location for that long.

What I want to know is how much Pakistan knew about him. I can completely understand why no one told them we were going in; little squealers would probably have had the place deserted by the time we got there.

Nice. That's cool.

By the way, almost finished with the Percy Jackson series. Just a chapter or two left in the last book. I also finally read the first Harry Potter book, and let me just say, there is no comparison between the two. PJ & the Olympians is WAY better! big_smile The last book is absolutely EPIC!
