 Atton RandExile (Female/Light Side)Kreia

Author’s Notes: I wanted to experiment how this will go. My last story before I leave for Washington D.C. Currently packing everything for the week and reading Star Wars Legacy of the Force: Revealation. All about the “Creepy, Obsessive, Evil, Dark-Sided” Atton Rand. I’m listening to Everybody’s Fool by Evanscence. If you listen to it, it kinda matches Atton a bit. Animal I’ve Become pretty much matches this. Sorry, Atton, forgive me, I had to do this. We all know you would never act this way.

The Point of No Return

“It is time.”
“All right. Where are we going?”
“To a place you know well. There, much will be revealed.” Kreia must’ve sensed heistation in the air around her and he knew it. “Any regrets, ‘Atton’?”
Goodbye, Exile. I hope… Atton mentally said a final goodbye to her but stopped himself when he saw the weakness of having those feelings. No, not now, not ever. No more second thoughts, I’ve decided. ”No,” he answered. ”I thought I would. I just feel… cold, nothing.”
Kreia inclined her head in approval. ”Keep that feeling close. You will need it where we travel.”

Atton Rand had been waiting impatiently at the Trayus Academy on Malachor V for some time now, just as Kreia had instructed. She told him that if he waited there, the others would arrive soon to this place. He didn’t care much for the others, there was only him. At just the thought of him, made Atton’s blood boil hotly. He clenched and unclenched his hands tightly to steady himself.

The Disciple, who calls himself Mical Ducan, the kid with the blonde hair and the innocent outlook of life. All a lie. Atton knew Mical was a fake through his played-out heroic way, getting close to her, watching her, spying on her, making sure she’s safe. Mical admitted he has a “harmless” crush on the Jedi Exile. Didn’t look harmless to Atton. Oh no, it looked pretty threating and hurt him badly.

Atton also admits he has feelings about the Exile, too. No, scratch that – he loved her. Always had and always will be. She’s an angel of darkness ever since he met her on Peragus. He wanted to protect her, not because to atone what horrors he’d done in the past, because she freed him from himself. He told her everything and she forgave him. She even trained him in the ways of the Force; gave him a future to rethink his life. Atton wanted to give the Exile a future, too… with him. He would follow her to Hell and back and all her enemies shall be his. He desired for her to love him as he loved her.

“Why are you here?”

“Because I told her, told her everything. Just like you asked.”

“And did she believe you?”

“Yeah. Yeah, I think she did.”

“You have done well. Now we shall see what happens. Did you know I once held the galaxy by the throat – no, you did not. I wielded power like you cannot imagine. Everything I saw was awash with possibilities, spreading outwards, touching everything else. I saw all of that, all that the Force is… and only when it was ripped from me did I truly see it. And I know what lies buried within you. That you hide with your desperate thoughts, your guilt, your lusts.”

Atton didn’t know what Kreia meant by that when he told her the Exile accepted him for what he had done. Then Mical came by and ruined those chances between them altogether. He requested to come along the Ebon Hawk, offered his help, and been nothing but a nuisance. He asked many questions about the ship, the crew, and the worlds they traveled. Many would mistake that for curiousty and wide-eyed innocence. He’s planning something… What’s worse is: he claimed the Exile was the Master chosen for him before she left for the Mandalorian Wars. Feeling guilty that she ruined his future, trained him to become a Jedi. Day and night non-stop about the Force and ways of the Jedi.

So here he is now waiting for the glorious moment to come. He looks forward to the end to make things the way it’s supposed to be. When it’s finished, he’ll collect his precious prize.
Atton’s thoughts broke unexpectully when the automatic doors opened with a hiss and a Jedi in light brown robes and a green single-bladed lightsaber entered the room. Mical. The Jedi noticed his ally was there, dropped his guard, and deactived his lightsaber. He approached Atton carefully.

“Hey, kid,” Atton greeted in a creepy, yet casual way.

“Atton,” Mical sounded initially relieved. “the Exile, where is she?”

Atton shrugged innocently, not looking directly at Mical, ”She’s safe, you don’t need to worry about her. You never did, really. You know how long it’s been since I killed a Jedi? You get a taste for it, you know. But it doesn’t get any easier – I just get better at it.” He gestured around the room. ”I killed a bunch here on Malachor, while the planet was dying.” He paused for a moment then turned to glance at Mical. “Killing a half-Jedi like you should hold me over until the next one comes along. They always do, you know.”

Atton saw Mical cringe uncomfortably for a moment as he took an involuntary step back. He understands the situation well now. He spoke, though his voice was firm, ”Atton, Kreia is using you.”

“Really? I had no idea.” Atton said unsurpised as he began to circle around Mical as a frenized firaxa shark would around live prey by kept his distance from the Jedi. His stance was aggressive and hand on the lightsaber that hung on his side while his black cloak swirled behind him. Mical’s eyes follow his moments, emotionless. Time to state the cold, hard facts of life. “Everyone uses each other, kid. And if she’s using me to kill you, as I see it, I really don’t lose anything. I already lost what mattered to me. I wanted to protect her, to help her, and then you show up, playing hero. Fine,” he said defiantly as he kept pacing, posing a serious threat.

Mical tried again to reach Atton to make him understand, “Atton, the feelings between the Exile and I…”

That halted his movement for just a split moment. “Doesn’t matter, not anymore. I had forgotten how much I hate Jedi. And the less of you that are in the galaxy, the better.” Without further ado, Atton activated his red lightsaber for show. Heh, mine’s bigger than yours. ”Ready to die, kid?”

“I won’t fight you, Atton,” Mical said. Jedi are weak. Maybe if they got a backbone, then maybe I would respect them more.

“I don’t care – I just want you to die.” Atton responded rather flatly. He twirls his Sith weapon and start to advance toward Mical. Mical gets ready in his defensive stance and draws his lightsaber. Then Atton charged at Mical, striking at any area he could muster, drawing from the power of the Dark Side to fuel his pure haterd. There was nothing Mical could do to defend himself but to keep blocking and parrying the attacks with his lightsaber. He was no match for him.

There was no place to hide or run from Special Elite Jedi assassin, Jaq Rand. Kill them all, leave no surivors.

This pointless duel won’t last long. It would be over soon, Jaq realizes that as he felt Mical’s strength dwindling away and his form weakened.

Jaq changed his battle plan and quickly switched to his Djem So attack stance, bringing his lightsaber above his head to strike downward. Mical immediatly dropped down in a deep stance and lifted his saber in a Kai-Kan drop. Jaq had only a split second and that’s all he needed: he made a grab for the arm that held the lightsaber and sliced through it as a hot knife through butter. Mical staggers back, confused and frightened as pools of blood dripped from his useless stub of a arm. He reached out with his left hand to support his missing right, as to stop the fatal bleeding. Jaq grinned evilly as he waved Mical’s arm in mockery at him and tossed to the side. Then he rushed forward and stabbed Mical in the stomach. He was close enough to look upon his victim’s expression. He had expected an look of terror or fear of dying as his Jedi victims had in the past. Instead, he had an calm expression and piercing blue eyes that cared deeply for her. “Exile,” he managed to whisper under his breath.

Jaq cried out in anguish and twisted the weapon into his belly to torture even further then he finally released his saber. Mical fell by his blade. Before Jaq could cherish his victory, he heard a young woman’s voice cry out. Her scream and hurried footsteps rang through Jaq’s head. He turned around to see the Exile had arrive to stare at the sight of her disciple. Jaq half-expected her to run up and embrace him, for getting rid of the nuisance. Instead, she kneeled down to Mical’s side and held him close to her so she could try to save him. But it was too late – Mical Ducan was dead.

She sat there, shedding tears for him and muttering some words to herself. Probably chanting some kind of prayer for the dearly departed or the Jedi Code. When she finished, she look at Jaq, the man she once known as Atton Rand, standing there, piting her. She didn’t speak then, she just stared at him as he stared back at her. While he sensed an aura of light surrounding her well-being, she sensed the darkness of haterd and lust surrounding his.

He wondered why she was staring at him. He got his answer when he saw his reflection given off from the pools of blood. She was aghast of how he looked in several minutes: he appeared to be older with white hair, his face chalkly white with blue veins, and his eyes glowed bright yellow. The Exile gave off an reaction that she wanted to escape this place and keep running but she was paralyzed by shock but she managed to stand up, dazed.

Finally at last she spoke, “Atton, what have you done?” she asked, as though something got caught in her throat. “Why did you do this?”

“I did what I have to. To protect you.”

“But at what cost? The death of a friend and a ally isn’t the Jedi way.”

“He wasn’t to be trusted in the first place. He’s a spy.”

“Mical was a offical that worked with the Republic. He brought reinforcements to defend Telos.” She walked towards Jaq now, unafraid and reach out her bloodied hand to touch his face. “You’ve fallen to the Dark Side. Please, come back, stop all this now. Let me help you. I… love you.”

Jaq felt her cool hand against his hot face. He let his anger get the better of him that he slapped her hand out of the way. “Liar! You’re with him!” he yelled as he pointed at Mical. “Jedi lie and you’re one of them!”

“No,” she backed away as Jaq walked towards her. “Atton, please…”

Atton was gone. He had been gone for some time, Jaq takes his place. Jaq Rand brought his hand and close it slowly into a fist. The Exile’s hands flew up to her throat, trying to remove the invisible hand choking her.

I can’t escape this hell
So many times i’ve tried
But i’m still caged inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can’t control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
(This animal, this animal)

I can’t escape myself
(I can’t escape myself)
So many times i’ve lied
(So many times i’ve lied)
But there’s still rage inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can’t control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal

Somebody help me through this nightmare
I can’t control myself
Somebody wake me from this nightmare
I can’t escape this hell

(This animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal)

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal

    it creeped me out.

  5. hehe, today’s my last day before leaving so i’ll thank you guys now
it’s rated R because of the blood and gore
wow, i thought i had a BAD taste in music because my dad & brother like rap and jazz (old people music) yep, i prefer rock
Mical had to die because of Atton’s jealousy of the Exile
whenever something bad happens to the Exile or other characters (dark side, love, death, etc.) i just use the name Jedi Exile
MaggOnasi: it depends on how far that jealousy goes. how far you will go to achieve it. then it will take you to the Point of No Return (phantom of the opera song) but for you sis, you won’t fall to the Dark Side
Shiin, Everybody’s Fool scared me too at first and i grew to love it because of the powerful lyrics, music and Amy Lee has a beautiful voice. i tried to sing her songs but i can’t sing them like she can, i keep trying. thanks for the link to that Visas and Brianna fight. i’ve never seen it before
i wonder which battle is more deadlier

  6. Shiin says:

to woman slapping over a sexy man; or fighting with lightsabers??

    whoa, hard choice.

  7. i think Visas and Brianna kill each other just like Atton and Mical
the male exile isn’t sexy at all, he looks kinda old

  8. Shiin says:

no, my male exile is sexy, it’s the one who has really dark brown hair and a mustache under his lip.

make a new KOTOR II game and search for him on the portrait selection.

  9. MaggOnasi says:

I thought you were a guy untill you said “my male exile is sexy”

  10. Shiin says:
