 Atton RandExile (Female/Light Side)Star Wars

Author’s Notes: This is just a quick write. I’m going to spare you the pain of reading about the ‘process of life’ and other gross stuff (I’m sure no one wants to hear about that, right?). I’m introducing some new Jedi Knights that are going to be in a new series I’m making called Legacy of the Jedi. This happened years after Atton’s and Andria’s marriage and three years after that. Also, Asta and Corick Onasi were twelve years old at the time then fifteen. Ariel Revan Onasi is a Jedi Grand Master. Carth Onasi is a admiral of the Telos’s fleet. Here goes.

Hapan Queen Mother and Jedi Master Andria Trelyve Rand could swear that she was dying from an unknown illness.

She could never see this coming in her entire life. This never happened to her before, she always kept a healthy body and ate warm food and drank plenty of liquids. How could this have happened? Almost everyday in the morning she threw up. What’s even worse is: she felt bigger, heavier, even fatter. Either she’s dying or just gaining weight. Neither of each is a good thing. Sometimes she hid her figure by wearing heavy cloaks during the day even when it is really warm out.

Andria’s husband, Atton Rand wasn’t around sometimes. He is a devoted soldier of RAG (Republic Alliance Guard). So he’s not here on Hapes most of the time, especially when she needs him most like right now. Maybe her body is trying to tell her something by swelling up like a balloon. Well, she already commed Atton to see just in case she was really dying.

She supposed something wonderful came out of the sickness. She never felt more in tune with the Force before. This gave her senses that expand beyond walls, ships, everything. But one thing she didn’t want to feel is: there is someone… or something inside of her. A parasite, perhaps? She couldn’t take it anymore that she went to see Jedi Grand Master Ariel Revan Onasi about this.

Revan told Andria that she was pregnant. Pregnant? Andria didn’t even know the meaning of the word. Whatever that was, she didn’t like it one bit at all. Now she truly wished she was actually going to die. Jedi don’t get pregnant and raise families. Just didn’t feel natual like when you take a blaster to shoot yourself in the head. Last thing she needed in life was little children running around the house.

“Damn!” Mission exclaimed, taking one look at Andria. “Atton knocked you up good, didn’t he?”

“Shut up,” Andria snapped. “Or else, you’re going to get your butt kicked by a pregnant woman.”

~

“Andria, was there something you want to tell me about?” Atton said, kissing his wife on the cheek before sitting down next to her.

“Oh, I didn’t know you cared,” Andria said sourly as she glared at him. “Apparently, someone got me pregnant, Atton. Yes, it’s you.”

“Me?” Atton said innocently. “What did I do?”

“Let’s see,” Andria thought out loud. “You’re the one did this to me and you will pay.”

“Okay, sweetheart,” Atton raised his hands in mercy. “I see your point, you’re mad. But it’s your fault. You wanted to play by Nar Shaddaa Pazaak rules.”

“Please, don’t remind me,” Andria sighed, massaging her temple. “I always remembered the terrible hangover every time I think about it. Who won that game? I don’t remember.”

“I think I did,” he remarked. “You were more drunk than me and I made you wear the Dancer’s Suit-”

“You made me wear what!?” She screeched as she slapped Atton.

“Hey, hey, sweetheart. Calm down, I was just kidding.”

“That’s good to know,” Andria allowed Atton to bring her close to rest on his shoulder.

“You know, you were actually drunk and begging me to take off your-”

“Enough Pazaak Boy,” Andria ordered. “Forget that I ever brought it up in the first place. Let’s not mention to anyone else and keep this to ourselves, shall we? And Atton?”

“Yes, Andria?”

“If you get any ideas like that ever again, I’m seriously going to kill you.”

“Don’t worry, Andria. I won’t.”

“If you ever do this to me ever again, I’m going to vape you where you stand.”

~

A year later, a girl and a boy were born. The girl was named Isabet Rand and the boy was named Jaq Rand.

~

Then three years later, a third and last boy of the Rand family was born. The boy was named Kaiden Rand after Lieutenant Kaiden Reese, an old friend of his mother’s. Reese died during the last battles of the Mandalorian Wars. He gave his life to protect Andria at the time.

Short, I know.

don’t blame Andria! she’s a Jedi, how was she suppose to know what pregnant is? last thing she ever expects is getting married and having kids. that begs another question: did she know how people are born? ha, admit it, you never see it coming, did you?

  7. Shiin says:
