 Atton RandBastila ShanCarth Onasi

Author’s Notes: Guess who’s back from being gone for a week! Yup, it’s Nihilus! I’ve just been away from the computer, not grounded or anything like that. Well, the title should say something: Black bird refers to a raven. Ravenstrike is in this.

Groiorg was silent. Ravenstrike was looking through his notes. He had recorded on paper his observations of his former friends: Their strengths, weaknesses, fighting styles, etc. While they think it’s safe, I’ll swoop in on them and dismember their hopes. I know for a fact that Arden still hasn’t been resurrected. This will work against them. It will reduce their strength greatly. He was plotting the correct attacks against them according to weaknesses and fighting styles. Using their disadvantages against them would have stupendous results.

At this point, he had abandoned his Jedi robes and adorned a pitch black cloak, which he wore on top of black clothes and boots. His weapons of choice were two Sith Tremor Swords modified with terrifying upgrades: Severe Devaronian Edges for extra discomfort and hurt when they impacted on the target. On his face was a scar that went from the top left corner of his face, across his left eyelid, and all the way to the bottom right corner of his face. His skin had turned pale white. This was NOT the Ravenstrike his former friends knew.

On Telos, everyone had gotten over the fact that Atton was dead. They knew that he would soon be resurrected. One day, the one who thought of Ravenstrike was none other than Mission. She wondered what he was doing and what he had been up to since he left them behind. She wondered if, perhaps, he was dead. Or maybe’ she thought, he had become guilty and would soon come back. “Mission! We’re about the leave!” Bastila told her. “Oh, right! I forgot we were going to visit Dustil today!” she replied, half distracted. She and Bastila went to the Ebon Hawk. It lifted off and flew into space, toward Naboo.

Ravenstrike sensed them take off…though not by using the Force. He had gained his own unique powers, ones that were along the lines of the Force, but were something entirely different. They allowed him to sense even the faintest sound, like a maalras sneaking up behind a cannok. They allowed him to use psychic abilities, such as telepathy, mind-reading, and the ability to move things with his mind. As he felt the Hawk go through space, he uttered a scream. It was not a regular scream, however, for it sounded like a raven’s cry. It echoed through space, able to be heard by everyone and everything. Carth and the rest of the crew looked up abruptly from what they were doing. They could hear the cry of the black bird. The cry of Ravenstrike.
