Ravenstrike started life as a Jedi at the age of 5. He didn’t really quite fit in with the crowd. Everyone thought he was rather strange. He didn’t understand it. By the age of 15, the cruelty he had endured made a shell around him, a shell that denied feelings of love and attraction. Then, he met HER. Norris Ossus, the most beuatiful girl he had ever seen. The shell crumbled a bit and he approached her. To his disbelief, she said that she was leaving the next day, so she couldn’t stick around. The day she left, the shell around him grew back, and it worsened. Whenever he saw a hint of love or affection, he turned away in disgust. He no longer wished to be a Jedi and left the Order. He became a rogue bounty hunter, working for whoever could pay him big amounts of credits.

One day, he came upon the Jedi Revan. Only, he wasn’t a Jedi. He was a Sith at this point in time. It was also almost time for his capture at the hands of the Jedi. When this happened, Ravenstrike knew that Revan was weak. Revan destroyed Malak on the Star Forge. He then, after a few years, left Bastila behind after he went into the Unknown Regions. Ravenstrike saw such weakness in love for so many reasons, but the main reason was this: Lovers often leave each other behind after long periods of time. After a few years, Ravenstrike saw Norris Ossus once more. He did not feel for her this time, however, and when they crossed paths he wounded Atton out of spite and anger. After Kreia’s defeat and Malachor V’s destruction, Ravenstrike sought out more work.

He met Bastila Shan on Dantooine. She showed interest in digging into his secrets. She started asking around about Ravenstrike, and gathered his troubled history, bit by bit, piece by piece. She finally approached him when his shell was at a critical level: He had fallen so far below feelings that he could not feel himself. Bastila sensed that it wasn’t the Dark Side that was corrupting him…it was he himself. She tried t otalk him out of his shell and almost succeeded, but she made a big mistake: She hugged him. This sent Ravenstrike into a frenzied rage, and he attacked Bastila, wounding her badly, but not before she could stab him in the stomach. He fled from the scene. Bastila thought she had killed him until she saw him standing outside the Enclave, watching her.

Norris returned after a couple more months. She went looking for Atton and the rest of the crew…without any knowledge of Ravenstrike stowing away on the Ebon Hawk. When she finally landed on Telos, there was a big party. Ravenstrike got off of the Ebon Hawk and entered the building, when he was approached by Kreia’s phantom. She said that he could get what he wanted here: His revenge on Norris Ossus. Before he could do this, however, Kreia was defeated by Atton. Ravenstrike then fled to the hangar. Revan returned the next day, and Norris’s crew, Carth, Revan, and Bastila went to Carth’s house for a feast. Ravenstrike learned of Norris’s pregnancy. He then started devising a plan. One to eradicate love for good.
