Author’s Notes: This is the period of time between the Betrayal series and the Pyramid Of The Sith series. Aptly named “Interlude”, it tells how much time has passed so far, what’s been going on, etc. Please, now, enjoy the short story that is Interlude.

A month has passed since the group destroyed Darth Nihilus, redeemed Arden, and discovered Ravenstrike’s resurrection. Things have been pretty calm since then, and not to mention exciting. Arden and Bastila announced that Bastila, too, would be a mother. Mission and Ravenstrike had rumors of marriage floating around them. Mandalore strengthened Clan Ordo. Above all odds, Mical grew further away from his “feelings” for Mira, and she married Carth. No one expected it. Bao-Dur and Visas got to know each other better, as they hadn’t talked to each other very much during the events of their original travels with Norris.

Things couldn’t possible get any better. But, they could get worse. Somewhere in the Galaxy, a whirlwind of the Dark Side formed, respawning two old enemies, and one never before encountered. Taking Korriban under their control, they discovered that an ancient pyramid could be hidden beneath the sands of this barren planet. They began searching for it almost immediately. When confronted by the phantoms of Uthar Wynn, Yuthura Ban, and Darth Traya, they were presented with a challenge: They were told to destroy the group.

No one sensed this danger yet. It wouldn’t be until at least a couple of weeks later that they did. But, before then, nothing seemed dangerous to them. It was truly wonderful being in the presence of each other. They enjoyed being friends. But, HK wasn’t very social at times. Aside from that fact, everyone talked to each other most of the time. There were times during the next couple of weeks before the danger was sensed that they didn’t get along. Most of it was arguing between Mission and Bastila. Other than that, there were no problems. However, the time of peace was drawing to a close. The time of danger was rapidly apporaching…

So, what do you think? What should happen in the next set of stories? Should a couple break up? Should we stick to the classic theme of someone dies? You give me ideas. Ciao for now.
