Kotor 3, Part 2
Authors Note: Same note as part one except for the fact that this one has some “bad” language.
Awakening: Your character (your characters true nature will be revealed later) wakes with a start. The Ebon Hawk is still in hyperspace and you hear Zii Padalonis’ heavy breathing in the corner. It was just a dream you tell yourself but something about it was so real… You try to go back to sleep but the dream keeps floating back into your mind. Finally you hear Zii get up with a huge yawn; he notices that that you have a ghostly expression on your face. “What’s up?” he says in a gentle voice. I, well, I’m not actually sure what, but, I guess it was just a nightmare.” Zii doesn’t look totally convinced but he pushes the matter no further. “Want some breakfast?” he asks. “Sure.” you answer. “Hey, T3.” “Bee-boo-be-tweet.” came the droids “Beepy” response. “Ya…” Zii had never gotten used to the droid even after 5 months stuck in the ship with it. Zii had gotten used to HK-47 though. Hk-47 is an assassin droid who was on the ship when you found it on Telos. With your character the opposite, T3-M4 was very appealing to you from the beginning. Quickly, T3-M4 released some food from his cute, circular head. You and Zii had gotten very sick of the droids food, but T3 would of course be very offended if you said it to his “Face”. Zii, on the other hand, had served in the war as a Republic Lieutenant but then got severely injured and retired even though he was only 27 years old. He never fully explained how he got injured but he had permanent casts on his stomach and legs. You still don’t have enough influence on him for him to answer. “So, what planet are we above?” you ask casually. Zii doesn’t bother to look up, and says with food still in his mouth, “Tattoine.” A wave of disappointment washes over you. “Oh…” Zii notices the tone of disappointment in your voice. “What’s your issue with Tattoine?” “Well, I just, I have a bad history with Tattoine.” Once again, Zii doesn’t push the matter any further. You and Zii finish your breakfast in silence. Suddenly, you hear a grinding then burning noise. Then an explosion coming from the back of the ship. You and Zii jump to your feet, you start smelling smoke and immediately you get a vision of the engine on fire. “Damn It!” you think out loud. Zii looks at you confusingly but there’s no time to ask so he runs to the back of the ship and two seconds later you hear a scream and a loud, “UUUUGGGGHHHH.” Zii runs back to you and says that we can just make it onto Tattoine but instead of a nice pleasent landing a giant crash into the desert. You brace yourself for the crash and as you get into the atmosphere while the twin suns are rising you get another vision, Darth Siin flying in hyperspace. “No time to think about that.” you think to yourself. As Zii does all he can do to keep the Ebon Hawk from blowing up, you brace yourself for the inevitable crash. AS the desert becomes bigger and bigger Zii says, “I’ve done all I can do, get ready.” At the exact same moment HK-47 walks up and says, “Nervous Question: What is happening to the vessel, master?” You respond, ” The Ebon Hawk is crashing into Tattoine.” HK-47 says, “Excited Response: Oh goody!” You look at him questionably.”Why the hell would you say that?” you say without thinking. “Scared Answer: Well, my first meatbag, I mean Master (I said it again!) purchased me in this system!” “Oh…” you respond. “I’m sorry abou-” CRASH!! Windows crashing, a huge “WWWWEEEEEEEOOOOOOOPPPP!!!!” from T3-M4 and an “Exasperated Comment: OH my!” from HK-47. Zii is bleeding very badly; you rush to the medical room to get 4 medpacks and as you inject the medpacks into Zii, sand slowly starts to come into the Ebon Hawk. Zii is lying on the floor of the cockpit and saying to you, “Get out of here, get out of here.” You’re faced with a very big choice. Do you leave Zii to his death or do you stay with him?
