A small fleet of Republican battleships become isolated in the middle of space when a Sith armada suddenly attacks their hidden base. The final confrentation between the Sith and the Republic as the Jedi Civil War comes to its close. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Hello everyone. Before I start with this story, I want to explain a few things first. Somewhere around last year, I was part of another KOTOR fan site that for some odd reason, doesn´t exist anymore. I had been doing what anyone who goes to these site do; enter fourms and talk about KOTOR 3 and other topics, just comunicating with fellow lovers of the game. I had been posting in some ideas for a charatcer for KOTOR 3. This character (never really decided if it was a he or a she) that was of the same especies as Yoda. I explained a scenario igual to Empire strikes Back where the main character ( being whoever you custumized the character to be) crashes on a deserted planet, something that was very remienecent of Dagobah and, after a series of diaolouge games, would meet the character. Someone would had been reading and posting on the fourm liked my ideas and wanted me to take over a fan fic that he had been writing. I never wrote a fic before and sure never had been offered to take over one, so it was kind of a small honor. I took over where he left off and wrote a chapter, with two more roughdrafted. Problem was that, somwhere along the ride, I got writer´s block. And for months, this story has been laying on a desk. I always wanted to go back to it but stoped short by lack of inspiration. Now, I´m fend up with it and I´m going to finish this story.

 

This story was orginally called ” Lord Xarka: The Republic´s last stand ” and it had been that way when I posted on the old site. I decided to change it really because I think that, for where I want this story to go, the title needs to be more direct and dramitic. I know that doesn´t make much sense now but hopefully, you´ll get what I mean later on. I started the story on chapter 3. The orginal author, no offence to him, wrote very little to work with. It was probably no more then a few paragraphs. In these paragraphs were chapter 1 and 2. I started on chapter 3 and have it all written down. I´ll be sure to post my summery of the two chapters first.

The story takes place inbetween KOTOR I and II, two years after the battle of the Star Forge.
There really is no light or dark side ending needed to read this story. Thourgh characters from the first KOTOR will be mentioned, they´re not the main focus of the story. I want this story to be as insink with the Expanded Universe as possible.
