I don't think that he's dead, I think what they mean is that it is possible for him to get killed if you make certain key choices, and then you play as someone else. But I don't know, Shep was a badass I don't see how he could ever die!!!

i enjoyed mass effect 100%. the gameplay was amazing, the story was amazing, the characters were amazing, the s*x scene was just weird and something not needed in that game. haha but other than that, the game was dandy.
can't wait til the second one comes out.

What class did you go with? I went vanguard/shock trooper, but I think I should have stuck with soldier. One of the best 3rd person shooters i've ever played!

yes the gameplay was very very satisfying oh and just unloading your lancer on a geth then throwing a grenade at three then boom. yeah. good times.
