I was thinking about the jedi code and yoda and something came to mind. Yoda died at 900 years old and that is a very long time not to ever be with the female of his race or anyother race.

There was another race that could use the force and they lived for 1,000's of years because they could sleep through time. I read that in a book that I had but I can not remember the name of the book or the race right now.
