They're too confusing and... just weird.
Most of them make no sense, and are hard to follow.
I only read three, then I quit reading them.

I've reading the Austere Academy one right now. They've all got good plots, but There's one thing I don't like. at the end of every book, they have Count Olaf cornered, and he just runs, and everyone stands there shouting at him. I think he could have a thousand more ways to escape.
