Shields

(The real answer was "tech proximity mine" because I just finished a fanfic involving Tali, but I assumed three words didn't count in word association.)

Re: Word Association

Swords

(I’m sure tech-proximity-mine, would’ve been okay. It’s not like theres anyone who would be upset.

Oh cool, what’s it about? And if you don’t want to share, no biggie.)

Re: Word Association

Pen.

(I have an ongoing crossover series of ME & Thunderbirds 2015 series, each instalment is a short adventure between a character from each. It all started with Gordon & Kasumi (well, technically Gordon sitting on his brother doing push ups in show). I've also done Kayo/Liara, Virgil/Wrex, Alan/Joker and the latest one is Tali/John which I've only just finished & still needs editing.

The Tali/John one is a bit different in that the focus isn't the adventure but the long distance friendship aspect. I'm still not sure it works, but I think it does.

This might have something to do with the fact that my Revan fic hasn't gotten written.)

(Sounds like it keeps you busy and some people like being perpetually busy.

What’s the Revan one about?)

Re: Word Association

Pigment

(I'd like more time to do stuff. Why do we spend so much of our lives working?

The Revan one was what I originally started the other thread about. It's apparently what happens if I watch too much SVU then play enough of KOTOR to be reminded of the intolerable attitude of the Jedi in game and get a rabid headcanon about maybe Revan fell because of past trauma and stuff.)

Re: Word Association

Shades

(Work keeps people preoccupied. There’s many reasons to keep the population “in line”

A reason I never put anything down, is because I feel like I’m stealing from other properties and ugh.)

Re: Word Association

Shrieks

(It's not about preoccupation, it's about the necessary income. It's why Right-to-Buy became a thing in the 80s, Thatcher knew that people would strike less if they had a mortgage to worry about. Or at least I think it was her idea.

That's the thing with fanfiction, the whole premise is playing with other people's toys. tongue)
