Topic: Xbox One

I have the xbox one and am attempting to use KotoR.  There are a couple of notes online that this should work.  I do get a thumbnail image of the cover art and a "queued." status message.  The only game I've got to work so far is the one that comes with the Xbox One.

Re: Xbox One

In other news I tried to get the Xbox One controller to work with the Steam PC version of the game, and that didn't work.

I am playing a Scout named Marius.

Wireless controller?

To be one with the force, you must be one with yourself.

Re: Xbox One

Even if I wasn't about three months late, I've only ever played this on PC and I don't think I've ever played anything on XBox...

I feel like that must be a lie, but can't think of a single thing I might've done...

Anyway, what exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to use a controller with steam or somehow link steam to your xbox?

We’ll never get closure on this.

Re: Xbox One

Based on my own experience. It is not possible to pair the Xbox one controller with steam. I tried it myself self and it never worked. Really frustrating because it should be so easy, especially with a computer that runs Microsoft.

Re: Xbox One

There’s always the availability for a wired controller.

True,

I never had that opportunity

Re: Xbox One

Since 2006 I’ve always had the opportunity. But, I’m not a pc gamer.

Ive always wanted to explore the pc universe. But Ive had a mac for most of my life and cant afford a good computer.

Re: Xbox One

Apparently “affording” a good computer exists. But to me “2000” seems a little steep for a good computer.

Re: Xbox One

You can build one for way less than that. Well £ anyway, I dunno about $ or other currencies.

And it's easier than you'd think.

Re: Xbox One

I’ve heard it all before. Consoles just do it for me.

You know what??

That’s fair.

Re: Xbox One

I have been trying to play KOTOR 1 & 2 on my Xbox One for a while with no luck either but I believe you need to locate a curtain download to be able to play the old games on newer systems.

I have played both games recently on Xbox, and on PC. both have been great.

The Xbox version included the 'DLC', right? I think it was Yavin IV or something?

Wake up. You were dreaming. What's your name?

Re: Xbox One

Correct. The yavin station.

Re: Xbox One

Wait, the Yavin station was DLC?
