As the rocks are being melted out of the way, dirt begins to fall from the tunnel's ceiling. Only some of them are aware, but they still continue to shoot at the rubble.

Ardo and Vali meet up with the other Elites. Ardo watches as the plasma continues to burn through the rocks.

"We must hurry," he says. "Every moment the Parasite moves closer."

Kysh, Scron, and Cado nod in understanding and continue their work.

...Alliance, Outside...

Daar looks around. "The damn fog. I can't see a thing."

"I'm not picking up any heat readings," Lisa adds.

Maximus growls and sniffs the air. "She is lost in the storm. It will do her no good if we are lost as well. We must find shelter and wait this beast out. Once it has cleared we will mount a search... should the time be right."

Of course it should be 10x better than Republic Commando. What with all the new tech and stuff. ~_^

Cado nods. "And we have something worse than the Demons on our tail. I will lead on."

Cado leads the Elites on through the tunnel until they finally squeeze through the exit.

...Alliance, Heven...

Maximus stands at the edge of the cave, watching... waiting. No doubt the Parasite had aleady consumed the human female lost in the storm... a search would be worthless.

But he was not one to crush hope.

Yes, Republic Command was excellent... for a game released at that time. They're developing new gaming tech everyday. If they made a new edition of Republic Commando to be released in Fall 2010 no doubt it would be 10x better than the original... not necessarilty storywise but graphicswise, etc.

Cado growls, sniffing around. "I sense a brother passed through here, but I do not see his body or his blood..."

"A coward perhaps. He must have fleed from the Demons..." Ardo inserts.

Cado shakes his head. "No," he replies, still searching the air for fresh scents. "His sent mingles with that of the humans. They walk the same path."

"He follows them?" Vali asks.

...Alliance, Cave...

Maximus watches the Demon at the other enterance carfeully, listening to it whisper to itself. He growls when the female Demon stands and moves towards him.

Lisa turns to Maximus, surprised at the growl. Lisa could tell the Elite thought something was off with the other Spartan; he was solitary and didn't speak much.

But Lisa understood why he was that way... understood completely.

"Three Demons?" Vali questions. "They don't ususally travel together."

Ardo nods in agreement. "Well, they don't always hunt for an object as valuale as the one they retreived."

"We barely survived one. What can we do against three?" Kysh adds.

"We will attack them when they are unprepared," Cado replies. "Let us push forward through the fog following the humans' scents... I fear we may learn of our brother along that way."

...Alliance, Cave...

Lisa stands beside Bruce now, looking out into the fog, but doesn't seem to pay any attention to him for the moment. Finally she turns to him.

"Well, it seems we may be bunked here for a while," she says. "Care to explain yourself."

"i cant reach you tom,  we are having some minor problems at the main base." laughs at the end of the com " you shouldnt of went away.... ha"

(walks out of the fog and waves to bruce)"hi guys anythning new?"Eric asks

"We have to do something." Ullono states.

The fog seems to remain thick, blocking vision. Soon the elites can't even see eachother.

(( Meanwhile... Alliance... Caves... ))

"Initially..." Bruce states. "I'm not supposed to be here. Right now, I'm supposed to be far away from here actually... I don't know your mission (Well, I figured it out now), but it's just dumb luck I suppose that I ran into UNSC personel on this rock."
