Well, the RP we started at TSE turned out to be great, at the time. But in retrospect, it was very messy with a lot of god-modding. Not helped by the fact that we had no idea what we were doing.
Roleplays, like you said, are great when they are controlled, with fair rules, fair admins, and a great variety of things to do. The problem I have with roleplays these days, is that everything is the same everywhere. I don't see anything new, hence why I have stopped attending and participating in them. By all means, I'd re-enter the world of RPing if there was a new, original idea, that was created. Something I'd never seen before.
Like I said before, when we first had roleplays going, they were great. We were new to the world, and we really did start something that has continued for 2 years I believe it has been since we started TSE.
As for me, I am completely stumped for ideas as to what a new, original idea for a new RP could be. Plus I'm too lazy to run one these days. Not enough time. I think that people should post some ideas here. Just food for thought. Perhaps one day I, or someone else, will start up something. Who knows?
