Re: Star Wars VIIII The Rise of Skywalker

That planet was stupid because all it was is a tattoonie switch because both planets had slave children and the little boy looked at the stars like Anakin and Luke did on tattoonie dreaming of a better life.

Exactly!

Wake up. You were dreaming. What's your name?

They need to show us brand new planets and landscapes

Re: Star Wars VIIII The Rise of Skywalker

I love Force Awakens. Even though it’s a “rehash”, it feels like Star Wars; I left the theater and was happy with my experience.

I loathe Last Jedi. That’s all I’m gonna say.

I am a 2/3rds Rise of Skywalker apologist.

The Skywalker story has ended but I await to see how star wars carries on from here.

Has it though? If their other storylines don't do as well as expected they'll totally revive the Skywalker plots.

Re: Star Wars VIIII The Rise of Skywalker

I think Disney did everything in their power to make it where no one wants to go back to the Skywalkers.

Re: Star Wars VIIII The Rise of Skywalker

I dunno. How many people would be interested in a story line in the years between episodes 6 & 7 that followed the original characters? If they got the right writers/directors etc and the right marketing I'm sure Disney would be able to use such a thing to make a guaranteed return of investment.

I think you're right, that they should try move things away from the plot lines of the main nine episodes, but I'm just saying I don't think it's that set in stone.

Just have to be happy with what they give out, what already exists, and whatever other people create.
