Topic: Is Persuade Skill Useful?
Hi guys,
Im not sure if i should level up persuade..i mean theres a universal force power called dominate mind anyway.. so is it advisable for my main char to do this?

In KOTOR I, I would recomend you to level up persuade. It is much more useful then dominate mind.

persuade it useful if u dont want to get dark side or light side points in a situation. so the answer is yes...

For example, there's a point on Manaan where Force Power persuades give you DS points. It depends on your class, and your character.

I would definantly suggest it. I use Persuade all the time when I am playing. In my opinon it is one of the most useful skills.

I'd suggest it too, it can be really helpful

on a game that i didn't upgrade anything except persuade and i didn't get to the lower city

You have to use Persuade against Juhani if you are following the light side.

And persuade helps with a lot of other things too. If you're not careful Dominate Mind can give you dark side points (unless that's what you want).
Persuade can be useful by helping you get Juhani to join your party (light side); Solving Sunry's murder case on Mannan; helping Canderous and that Mandalorian solve their problems on Tatoonie; getting Lashowe to invite you to help her get a Sith artifact; and much, much more.
