Topic: Can I get banned for using this?

So i was playing around in the game and i found a pretty cool thing.  It was basically letting me get around 100k every 20-30 minutes in the game.  It was just a spot where there are tons of things to slice and no mobs.  It seems to me its bugged in the game.  So i wasnt sure.  I also then found a website that had this listed as a cheat they had SWTOR Cheats (link has the slice thing listed there).  Well im curious if i can get banned for doing this or if its nothing big.  I know i didnt include how i did it because if its an exploit or cheat then i dont want others getting in trouble.  I tried posting this on the official forums but they just deleted it because i said the word cheat in it i think ugh.  Also these forums at old-republic.com seem a tad dusty.  Members need to start posting more as i plan on being around awhile smile.

On here you will not get banned unless you brake our forum rules because I am a Mod on here and Starr is a Admin. The game you are talking about is SWTOR so if they have cheats for the game already then in my book that means that it is cool with them. A lot of the time programs put in things like that so when gamers find them that makes them want to play the game even more to see if they can find more "glitches" in the game.

I think he was talking about getting banned from the game gentlemen. Veder, I would simply advise against over-using it. If you're worried about getting banned then don't do it and go about your daily life as normal. As for the infrequency in posting, we are all busy people. Some of us can't get on everyday or rather can't find the time to. It's simply how life is at the moment.

If I was you then I would tell everyone that you know that plays where that money spot is so if you get banned then they all get banned. But if you get enough people doing it then they can not ban you all because they would not have enough people playing it.  cool

The man does have a point, though Starr. But I'm guessing you're talking about the new MMO in which case my advice would be to stop wasting your time entirely, go pre-order Mass Effect 3, and play Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3 in the meantime.

That doesn't work. The admins will ban all their asses. The players already paid for their month or whatever so they could really care less.

Go and get Assassin's Creed: Rev. because it is fun as hell and if you have played the first 3 then the story is complete well they are still in the works on the next AC game that will finish Desmonds story.

I have been with AC since the first game so I will see it to the end and the same goes for Mass Effect 3 too.

AC is one of the best game series out there... ever. I mean the hook blade. Beyond awesome. Have y'all tried out all the s**t you can do with that?! I can't help but smile when I stab someone in the face with it and throw them to the ground 'cause they asses just got so f**king owned!!! XD

And the assassin recruits?! OMG love at first sight! ^_^ The whole Arabic fashioned armor and everything with the MASKS!!! OMG!!! LOVE THE MASKS!!! Ups their badassness like seriously. I mean there's assassins... and then there's assassins with masks! EPIC!!! big_smile

The best armor in the game is the Turkish Assassin Armor which just rocks.

Actually the best armor is Ezio's Master Assassin Armor which you receive after 7 of your recruits reach the rank of Master Assassin themselves. However, there is a "hidden" armor which is even better: Ishak Pasha's Armor. This is obtained by finding all 10 of the memoir pages and then completing the Hagia Sofia Challenge. It's unbreakable and can actually deflect most bullets and projectiles. smile
