Wow, it's actually a topic about KOTOR II, who would've thought? haha
Anyhow, I recently started playing this again (now that I have it for the PC, love it a lot more than the xbox version now). My goal is to gain as much influence with my party members as possible. Any success with this?
In the past, I was able to make Atton a jedi (dark and light) and Disciple a jedi (light only). Bao-dur has been my biggest obstacle.
What do you think?
Oh him. you he is interesting. I got him one time. that was....very hard. Might try a youtube video.

disciple....what a joke.
anyway. all you have to do is take him with you everywhere you go. here's the order...
after telos (and you forgive him after he's passed out in the crash), go to nar shadaa. bring him with you EVERYWHERE. start by helping out as many refugees as you can. then go into serrocco territory, kill them, and work on the speeder. select the dialogue phrase "thanks for you help bao-dur!" (cheesy, i know). you'll be on the right track when he says that he cant sleep and he's dreaming of malachor V. i trust you will be able to handle it from there.
If you're going to go and make Bao-Dur a Force user, please do yourself a huge favor and drag him to the darkside. Seriously. As a normal Jedi he's just Bao-Dur and he completely sucks. Awaken that inner darkness, and I promise you won't regret it.
However, Bao-Dur is a light-based character. To get influence with him you'll need to do as Prince suggested. Carry him around Nar Shaddaa being nice to people, helping 'em out... all that soppy goody two-shoes Jedi nonsense. You should be able to fully influence him in no time.
Once that's done, switch him out of your party and go around doing so good ole evilness to rack up on the darkside points. Eventually Bao-Dur will start to resemble Darth Maul in a sense, and he'll basically ask you to train him to be a Dark Jedi. Tada! ^_^

Bao-Dur really did suck when he became a jedi and was really more in the way then he helped but like Starr said that he kicked ass on the Darkside.
dude really? he was definitely a good combat specialist bro. and his inability to use some force powers (and any jedi robes) strengthened his combat abilities.
That's true but he rocked on the Darkside.

It is hard but once you have talked to him enough it is pretty easy.

I just like the way he looked on the darkside. I could care less if he could kill stuff. I never took him anywhere anyway. I just like darksided Zabraks. Like Savage. Complete badassness. And yes, that's a word.
