Re: The history for those unaware.

It really irritates me too, Prince. It is character assassination, pure and simple. But it's what the democrats have to stoop to in order to try to beat this guy. Cain, Perry, even Newt Gingrich, are all very conservative and have good ideas. The best way for the liberals to discredit their ideas is to discredit them, which is infuriating and unfair but that's their way.
Now they are not only trying to blow up the "sexual harassment"charges, they are also trying to make Cain look like a blundering idiot when he took time to think before answering a question. These people don't know what to do with a man who takes time to carefully word a reply. They are used to guys who just read off the telepromter or dance around the issue without really saying anything. Herman Cain actually thought about what he was going to say, which has them stumped.
"Why would he do that?! Does he not understand foreign policy?! He must be retarded! He had to stop and think about it!"

Re: The history for those unaware.

so true. agree with you 10000%.

But again. I dont like playing the race card, but this is truth: it is a fact that the democratic establishment cant stand the idea of an African American conservative decimating their precious president. So they'll come up with the lamest, most ridiculous unfounded accusations to bring him down. Now Cain is a close second in my presidential picks (Rick Perry is the first). But still. This is garbage. All of it. And when people like Perry and Cain actually pause to think in the middle of a response, they're crucified for it. Just goes to show how pitifully stupid the media is.

Re: The history for those unaware.

The thing about it is that after he paused and thought about it, he gave a clear and well articulated response. He didn't pause and then hem and haw his way around the question and try to BS his way out of it. So I really don't see what the issue is. Our current president has had much more glaring gaffs than this.

Yeah...those were pretty bad. Not to mention how he has treated the ambassadors/dignitaries from our international allies that have visited the US.

Re: The history for those unaware.

Those papers should be burned because they were more important for the government and people when this nation was foundered but these days they really have no impact on todays government and people.

Re: The history for those unaware.

Don't you know our government would kick our butts if we tried what our founders did two and a half centuries ago.

respect level -100.

and even if that was remotely true. its liberalism's fault for completely warping the government.

Those papers? Those... papers? Really? I mean, really? I think I have to agree with Prince. Serious loss of respect.

The government would attempt to kick our butts... and they would fail miserably.

That's one reason they would fail.

Re: The history for those unaware.

Needless to say the majority of the military is on the side of the people. After all, we're as human as you, and thusly have minds of our own. I mean, sure the government pays us and all, but when you consider the risks we're taking our paycheck often amounts to near nothing in comparison. A lot of soldiers fight for the people because they feel honor bound to do so.

and this is a good point you brought up. the average soldier in the United States armed forces makes maybe $20K per year. Average Congress(wo)man? $174,000 per year. now i dont know if its just the justice part of me speaking, but something's outta whack there.
