Topic: Can You Ever...
beat the game with Bastila alive? Every time I play it never happens, but if you pay attention to the movie at the end Bastila's in the crowd. Am I delusional or could you win with her?

Hi, let me be the first to welcome you to the site, it's good to have you!
To answer your question, yes, you can beat the game and yet not kill Bastila. The trick is while playing the game, talk to her as often as possible, building the relationship. You will eventually reach a point (before Malak captures her) where she will confess that she is attracted to you, even in love. This is an important part of the final confrontation. Before meeting Bastila for the final time on the Star Forge, make sure you save the game as a precaution.
During the conversation, there are a lot of options. You have to use the options that draw on your bond and remind her of her love. You can even leave yourself open to her attack in one part of the dialogue. The Persuade answers are not necessary, you can convince her to forsake the darkside without those. The save that i mentioned earlier can be used in case some of the answers don't convince her. at that point, go back to the save and restart the fight, and choose some different answers. If that doesn't work, I can probably go back in one of my save game files and find the exact dialogue options to turn her.

Welcome to the site and here are the things that you say to her to bring her back to the lightside.
Before and after each battle say the following:
I'll never give up on you, Bastila.
I'm as strong in the lightside as I ever was.
Malak will never let you.
Your dooming yourself to.
Then strike me down.
You are not evil, Bastila.
Now you can see the darkside.
There's no need for me to.
You can reject the darkside.
I was redemmed, Bastila.
You did protect me.
Help us defeat.
You won't, Bastila.
You could use your.
If you enter these answers in the order I gave then you will be able to turn her back and as you have noticed that I only wrote part of the answer but you will see them in the selections. I hope this helps and it is very important that you save your game as much as you can.

Yeah, wellcome. I was gonna answer, but they did before me, so I'm not gonna.
I always get her alive. I just talk to her allways, and be nice to her, and stuff. But that's just me.

Is it the same if you're a female character? Because she doesn't really admit she loves you if you are. Carth does or something like that.

it's very similar. the options are not exactly the same, but there are some similarities. mostly focus on responses related to your bond and the lightside. the ones with the Jedi teachings I don't think are that helpful.

You can get a mod called "bastila and femail player untold love story". You can probably guess what it does from the title.

I think that was in cut content, but there have been some mods that restored it.

I have a mod that sais in the description:
What this mod does, is make the juhany romance sideguest available for male, instead of femail characters.
