Soldier: Sir, The mountains are 3 miles away but I can send a runner back to base and he can return with a squard.

(All of the sudden the noises stop and their is nothing but dead silence)

Soldier: (Points at a runner to go to base camp for help)

Runner: (Puts up a thumb and takes off running to base camp)

Kess: Everybody form up on me and watch for anything and everything.

(Suddely the trees shake and the creatures start making stranger sounds. As the sounds get deeper and long boy walks out of the trees)

(The boy stops and stands outside of the tree line)

Karr: My name is Karr and why do you all hunt my family?

Kess: How are these things your family?

Karr: They found me when I was just a baby after soldiers like you killed my parents. NOW answer my question!!!!

Kess: They attack us first.

Karr: (Stands up)

Karr: I will give you 2 mins to leave before my mother and the rest of my family come out and slaughter you were you stand.

Soldier: The only slaughter is going to be when we kill your whole so called family and leave you for last.

Karr: (Turns around and walks back into the trees)

Kess: Why in the hell did you say that soldier?

Soldier: Sorry Sir, He made me mad and that was the first thing that came to my mind.

Kess: I only hope that the reinforcemets get here before those creatures attack because we are low on men and ammo.

(As they get closer to the mountian the radio starts to crack and a voice comes over the radio)

Echo Base: Dose anybody read me!!!!! Come in, Dose anybody read me!!!!

Soldier: Sir, We have a signal.

Kess: (Comes over to the soldier and takes the radio)

Kess: Echo base, Come in.

Echo Base: We were attacked about 2 hours after you all left by the creature and the strange thing about the whole attack was they were lead by a small boy.

Kess: We have met the boy of which you speak and we need reinforememts of both soldiers and ammo.

Echo Base: Yes Sir, I will send 10 soldiers and all the extra ammo that we can spare.

Kess: Thanks Echo base and do you have a arival time?

Echo Base: ETA 30 mins.

Kess: 30mins, Roger... Kess over and out.

Kess: (Hands radio back to soldier)

Soldier: What's the news Sir?

Kess: Reinforcememts will be here in 30mins with ammo.

(You can hear the soldier screaming in the woods)

Kess: Soldiers!!! Spread out and get ready to open fire.

(All the soldiers spread out and raise their blasters at the woods)

Kess: On my orders fire.

Soldiers: YES SIR!!!

Kess: FIRE!!!!!!

(All the soldiers open fire until their clips run dry)

(As the dust clears the reinforcements show up)

Kess: Okay, Everybody get ammo and reload.

(The soldiers reload the blasters and form up on Kess)

Soldier: What is our next move?

Kess: We are going into the tree and take care of any creatures that are still alive.

Soldier: Finally, Some real action.

Kess: All soldiers, Give me 10 down front and 10 behide them and so on.

(All the soldiers line up and get ready to enter the woods)

Kess: Be on gaurd and watch your cross fire.

Soldier: Sir, I have heat signals all over the place.

Kess: Their are 2 reasons for the signal to be all over the place and the first is the creatures could still be alive or it could be because of the gas releases.

Soldier: Sir, There is a heat signal comming this way.

Kess: Soldiers stand ready and fire on my signal.

(Soldiers stand their ground and get ready for the order to open fire)

Soldier: There is nothing here!!

Kess: I sence something is not right, AMBUSH!!!!!!!

(Right as Kess said that the creatures surround Kess and the soldiers)

Kess: Hold your fire until they make the first move.

(Soldiers raise their blasters and their fingers on the triggers)

Kess: It is strange that they are not attacking.

(Suddenly the boy steps out behind the creatures but he is not alone 4 others of his kind walk with the boy)

Simon: They are all dead but 1, The 1 jedi that lives is a woman named As'la and she is back at the camp.

Kess: Why did you kill the others?

Simon: We had no choice in that matter because they attacked first just like you did. They and you attack what you do not know or what you fear.

Kess: Why did As'la live then?

Simon: (Looks at Si)

(Si steps forward)

Si: She came without soldiers and asked to talk with us and showed signs of attacking us. She asked us why we were here and what the creatures are.

Kess: May I speak with her?

Si: I time if we can trust you like we trust her.

(Si steps back and Simon steps forward)

Kess: What are these creatures and why do they follow you?

Simon: These creatures as you call them are called Xyept and they are the guardians of this land. My race has lived here for many 1,000's of years and our to races have became family.

(2 soldiers step up and aim their blasters at the twins)

Kess: Shoot their legs BUT do not kill them.

Soldier: Yes Sir.

(The 2 soldiers pick their target and shoot at the twins and their blaster fire hit their mark. The twins fall to their knees but they will live.)

Kess: I sence that your race is strong with the force but I have never heard of your race before.

Simon: When our race first came to this planet we did not have a connection to this force you speak of. Only when we met and became members of the Xyept family is the moment that we became one with the force.
