I've played through Kotor quite a few times, both light and dark side, but I never have a good strategy when I arrive on the Star Forge. I usually take Canderous and Jolee with me until they disappear. Then once I'm up to face Malak, I hold on for dear life. I stock up on thermal detenators and use death field, but what are your strategies? :huh: :huh: :huh: 
What I've done a couple times is make sure I have level three force speed (I forget what the name of that power is) and force immunity. That way his force powers can't hurt you and if you get in trouble you can get the heck outta there.
Load up on stims, and try to get good at one of the attacks before that point (I personally like flurry attacks).
I've seen people beat this in a couple seconds, but I think they have really high strength and dexterity so they go toe-to-toe with him. It's funny, he's not nearly that hard on the Leviathan.
Yeah I honestly think they could've made it a little more difficult on the Leviathan

I usually don't stick to any strategies, I just kill Malak. Although, when I fight him, I s**k the life out of the people in the crytube for more health. 
i sometimes try to just take the life out of all of them so i can take care of malak more quickly
i take life of all the jedi in that cryotube thing, have a high constitution and strength and make sure i have a powerful red double bladed lightsaber.
just drain all the life and improve power attack malak because regular attack isnt strong enough. master power attack has to subtract a certain amount of attack points less than the improved one. the energy shield you fight after saul is the prototype shield thing, so save it then equip on the final battle. equip hyper adrenal alactricity and have a belt with high dexterity. So your good to go.
OR:
get your highest strength, and have the most powerful character in combat ever.
so dont get force powers, it usually doesnt work on the idiotic dark lord himself.

well that plague or poison force power worked a couple of times... but not really

Furreal. haha. that's the only bad thing about being a Consular is when you get to this fight its really tough. Bastila shoulda been able to come with you at this point, even on lightside! B)

The reason that Bastila did not go with you to fight Malak was that she had to help either the republic or Sith in the battle useing her battle meditation. You really do not need Bastila's help beating Malak because he is easy as hell to beat and Bastila would just get in the way.
