I think that Luke used both the lightside and darkside of the force because when Luke went to get Han Solo from Juba the Hutt, He used force choke of the two gaurds and then later on he tried to use force mind trick on Juba the Hutt. What do you think?

i agree on the assumption that he was both, towards the end he starts using force powers from both sides to get through situations
