I take my time doing them. I go back and do everything that I can. If it means to walk across the whole beach again to go to the hidden cache I forgot about it, so be it. In KotOR you never know what kind of cool item you may get.

Twice in KotOR. Once as a male lightsider, other as a female darksider.
Once and 3/4 in KotOR II. Once again first as a male lightsider than a female darksider, I stopped because I got Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
KotOR II is definitely more fun to play a second time, but as far as being better I don't know. I like how you influence your crew. Watching Atton become twisted is fun.

Talib Kweli is number 1 in my opinion. He's so amazing. You should pick up Quality by him. He'll blow you away. I guess he's relatively underground, but he is also pretty mainstream too. Good friends with Dave Chappelle.
