Why? Actually it is better without them (nobody is forcing me to download 20 huge sigs when I open forum page, and we are not here to show sigs but to talk, that's what's impotant) smile

Marka Ragnos. He was more powerful in force than ordinary human sith, as he was bastard between acient Sith and human, i don't know is there any other sith able to be ressurected. EDITED: In StarWars EU Emperor Palpatine ressurected himself also.

Marka Ragnos. He was bastard between ancient Sith and human, thus more potent in force than ordinary sith human, so much, that he could be ressurected.

There are few side quests I was not able to accomplish

Kahranna, refugee at narshadaa needs transportation off planet. Lassavou, the Ithorian says he will transport her after you help him, but does not. How I should proceed (you can lie to Kahranna and cheat her for money, but that is DS, I never finished LS quest)

Redemption quest at Dantooine?

Where I can pick up Narshadaa landspeeder parts (one is at Tien Tubb's shop, second in one of the pylons in Narshadaa docks, and where is third?) I remember I stumbled upon all three parts once.

Is there LS quest at Narshadaa swoop bike gallery (there is DS if you destroy race droid)?

@matar

Hey, videos would work but that would be pricey - to shoot each LS and DS character and scenes separately, they can do it... but I doubt they will... lol

Some videos are LS and some are DS, also, you can disable or reinforce minefield at Dantooine and disable or repair turrets, all this AFAIK has it's own video, depending whether you fight for Administrator Adare or Azkul's mercenaries

Now, please forgive me, as far as I know, Windu's students who learned his lightsaber form were killed. He killed Count Dooku when he was unarmed, and Yoda was not able to outperform him. There is also reason why Yoda was not ready to challenge Vader and Palpatine himself but trained Luke, so, IMHO there is more than lightsaber form itself in lightsaber combat, but what is the point of this? :huh: There are Kreia's words also... tongue

Korriban. Mad sith at the tomb is EXTREMELY hard to beat - for the first time when I played korriban it took me good half hour to beat him. Uthar Wynn is also difficult.
Then Rakata Prime (unknown or Star Forge system) when you fight tribe of The One you fight 3 rancors and that is awful.
Star Forge is very easy. You can prevent Malak from healing himself by killing captive Jedi. (death field, lightning) Maybe StarForge is easy for me because I don't forget to buy Heavy exoskeleton at Yavin IV.
Manaan is frustrating, as I had insufficient spikes to 'slice' system and I was suffocated by those SOBs at underwater station last time I played. I had to reload and go through the Manaan again conserving spikes to beat it. BTW it's one boring planet.

@Yojimbo

There is a reason why i played KOTOR I only few times. TSL is more diverse, also, classic RPG thing is actually BAD thing. By tripling base damage of all weapons, game would be harder (to-hit rolls would be extremely important) and it would still be RPG. I am sure such thing can be tuned so that gameplay is not affected, instead of copying combat system we are all familiar with, and, of course, flawed one (Force Crush - AD&D Death Spell, building tank unit character etc.). Why does everybody think I wish to argue when I only voice my opinion? You have different opinion, perhaps, and I don't have problem with that. smile I will also bring to your attention LS/DS balance issues (you can guess what I had in mind big_smile ) which would not be problem if Jedi and Sith (and you, of course) were resistant to force powers as in movies. We would see more melee with lightsabres which is not bad thing IMHO. wink That could be added easily, as you go up in level as a Jedi you gain more and more resistance to force powers, and near the end of the game you could be completely invulnerable to them, just like your Jedi opponents (Yoda vs. Count Dooku anyone?). I doubt LucasArts will implement such thing for KOTOR III. That would bring LS/DS balance and use of passive powers (speed, etc) versus Jedi. Now imagine Yoda vs. Count Dooku fight in KOTOR I or TSL, I doubt it would be equitable wink

KOTOR I has an issue with believability if I can say so:

1. Weapons are very weak. KOTOR II TSL is much better due to strong upgrades possible (although it is still flawed IMO in this respect). Yes, it is a "bit" unbelievable for enemy to survive 10 blaster bolts or 10 lightsaber slashes.

2. Sith Apprentice whom you may kill in Korriban Sith Academy uses Drain Life and he has not begun his training yet

3. ALL force powers affect Jedi as they affect non-Jedi and that is flawed, an issue with both TSL and KOTOR I. Jedi should be far more resistant to force damage and other effects, so that lightsaber combat could be dominant. Don't ask why, just see some movies!!! That is an issue with KOTOR I but far bigger issue with TSL which looks like some munchkin mod (prestige classes, Force Crush etc.) Due to that for example, fight with Darth Bandon is harder than end fight with Malak - testers, where they were?

IMHO TSL is far better game than KOTOR I.  lol I'm not into canons and stories (which are stupid anyway) and all that Revan thing (hint to those who are, fictional character, just like Santa Claus, I don't wish to offend anybody though, but it is simply true, so whatever you imagine is as valid fantasy as movie canon - there are no differences for me) but I am looking for immersive world so that I can relax roleplaying - and TSL is far, far better than KOTOR I in that regard - at least game is not forcing stupid responses to NPCs so often and game (which is something much different than a cutscene - if only cutscenes could be removed completely) is different somewhat based on your morality (light/dark)

lol Now for Bastila, judging from her appearance in TSL, is she a sith? She should be, as her holo speaks sith couldn't hold Star Forge after Revan departed known space. That would also imply that revan is DS and (like I said) KOTOR I DS ending is crap. Officially Revan and Bastila are LS, but it's in conflict with TSL story. That would mean that Star Forge was NOT destroyed, and Bastila and Revan are sith.

@Yojimbo

I wholeheartedly agree. Imagine multiple main quests 9all different) for example, an ability to play as Jedi Bounty Hunter and affiliate yourself with the criminals (The Exchange or Hutts) roll and try to gain power in that way before hunting Jedi Masters... lol As I am master to steer something to offtopic (this thread is an example)  big_smile  tongue let me continue - I was very dissapointed by the fact that all Jedi Masters (except Vrook he is VERY tough) as well as Sith Nihilus and Sion are too easy to beat - at malachor I was able to bring down Sion in single round every time (Sith Marauder with uber-two weapon fightning skills, double-bladed saber, master fury and master speed, Yujo saber form and master flurry - 300-400 damage in single turn)
Any new rumours on KOTOR 3 dudes? There was some IGN article where they speculate LucasArts is planning KOTOR 3 on XBOX360 and PC, but I doubt it's much more than a speculation... Any news?

I'm just a bit on the darkside roll I wouldn't mind using lightning on few people I know  big_smile

In fact let me emphasize that HK47 is best ranged attacker with his assassin protocol abities - pay attention to them! he is well able to do good 120 damage with single power blast of unmodified charric or good rifle like that! Last time I played TSL he was with me at Onderon and it is much more capable than Mandalore or even Mira with rifle (although Mira is close second). Then, when I had non-jedi Mira in the party she had master rapid shot and tremendously upgraded Onderon heavy repeater - and she was better,honestly, than HK47 with simple charric, but that heavy repeater was able to do 50 damage on single hit. HK47 is better. BTW killing sith lords at Freedon Nadd tomb on Dxun with heavy repeater was great fun  big_smile It is great fun to unleash Mira at enemies (you only need very good rifle) and because of scout abilities she has bonuses against blaster bolt deflection, and I suppose, has to-hit and damage bonus also hehe she is more powerful than Hanharr with good double-bladed weapon  big_smile

@Yojimbo

Side quests are annoying if not executed properly (like in KOTOR I and TSL whhere side quest is fetch and carry work) but what about long side quest that will allow you to gain NPC for the party? big_smile

@Yoojimbo

No, she is not, but given the TSL LS ending she will be, as Jedi. smile If she becomes something like Jolee Bindo, then its OK smile I'm lonestly sick of portraying Jedi ad do-gooders and sith as bloodthirsty butchers. Sure, both should have fair share in the game, but take for example Visas, and you reminded me of Jolee as well. lol

Just like Visas is not true Sith, what makes her personality intriguing, and discovering history and motives of NPC is interesting in itself and good for story. it goes for Jolee, too. We need more such characters, with Disciple or any bloodthirsty Sith as NPC game is much less interesting. Visas would be much less interesting NPC with personality of Hanharr and same goes with true Jedi e. Disciple vs. Jolee Bindo.

@Lord Sion

Darkside.

@matar

Changes? yes if the only change you wish is cutscene and few dialogue options (e. with Bastila at the end). big_smile That is problem with TSL as well although it has better diversity (if you are DS you fight Jedi Masters outright, more DS dialogue, influence is good, although very poorly executed - for example Visas can go to LS mastery after only one dialogue) smile Change of one cutscene does not make replayable game, at least not for me. In fact if you wish to know what should be done with KOTOR III here is a list

1. Proper influence system. Characters dont get LS or DS points based on how much you influence them, but your influence gives potential for very slow LS or DS shift. When alignment is changed character is different also (for example with DS Disciple you would GAIN influence by killing NPCs for loot and whatnot)

2. Much more neutral responses (non-LS, non-DS), ability to choose ending based on your actions, not alignment (similar to Revan and Bastila dialogue at Rakata Prime) So what if you are LS, you want to take Sith throne, I guess that will instantly bind you to DS (movies, anybody?)

3. Ability to fight Jedi not Sith.

4. Planets should be bigger, with more side quests

5. More NPCs for your party. You choose.

6. Personal items and money for each NPC - like non removable robes or armor, or even better, each NPC with his or her belongings among whom you (or better AI) chooses what should be used. You can only upgrade items. Some NPCs would be mercenaries, requiring you to pay them on each planet, for example. You will not be able to equip NPCs outside of your ship - for example to give him force pike or mandalorian assault armor in some cave, you should be able to modify combat behaviour only (ranged/aggressive/grenadier/jedi support) It is not believable for party to carry entire loot (10 suits of armor, 10 vibroblades, 10 blasters, 10 rifles etc.) while exploring some cave, is it? smile

Maybe his mom didn't love him when he was a just a little screw driver big_smile.

Incredulous statement: You dare tamper with my behaviour core?
Eager threat: We can negotiate end of hostilities...

Canderous Ordo - Mandalore and Visas Marr (only if DS) - other characters are way too stereotypical - Mission, Carth, Bastila and Discipla and Handmaiden are too stereotypical to make it into... well a good RPG once more. Carth and Disciple are especially annoying. As for Revan, he never came back from unknown regions  big_smile
