I'm like that with uni. It's like, I'm sure it's not that long since I was a student... nope, that was roughly a decade ago now.

Name: Eruu Leesnul
Race: Falleen
Age (if you want): 38
Class(Jedi, Clone, other): Jedi (kind of sentinel)
Rank: ExplorCorps
Appearance: 5ft1, green skin, long black ponytail
Backstory: Found to be Force-sensitive at a young age Eruu spent her childhood as a Jedi initiate, but by the time she needed to take her initiate trial she had come to believe that she would be a better servant of the Force outside of the traditional Jedi ranks. After deliberately failing her trials a number of times she was finally recommended for a role in the ExplorCorps.
After almost two decades alternating between the front lines of exploration and ORD worlds, Eruu has honed her skills to rival that of a Jedi Master whilst never officially progressing to the rank of Padawan, whilst also gaining some street smarts.
Weapon: Yellow single bladed light sabre.
(I think I might've gone overboard on the backstory. )

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a social justice statement, but it pulled me out of the Star Wars universe because it looked like a casino/horse derby in Kentucky or something, lol. Additionally, it was too off the track and the 'contact/mole' they were supposed to meet definitely should have been Lando or something, but... wasted potential.
I had completely forgotten there was a mole they were supposed to be meeting... Also you're right about the horse race thing.

I honestly think what you learn about Malak's fall is more interesting especially when you see it unfold in KOTOR 2 on Koribon.
Now I really need to replay the sequel, I don't remember this at all.

Okay that GIF is actually making me re-evaluate my opinion on whether or not Hayden Christensen can act. XD
I actually liked most of the new characters, the problem was that it just felt like they never really got to develop properly because they relied too heavily on the fan service to the originals. Let's be real Episode VII was just a rehash of Episode IV. And it felt like they could've done so much more with Fin but just... didn't.
Kind of spoiler: Also the ignominy of Admiral Ackbar's end... How. Dare. They.
Plus the casino planet. I mean, it looked cool, but what was the point?
Also I was going to make a joke about Poe stealing Carth's jacket before remembering it's probably just a flight suit.
