somewhere in the 7000's. most of it comes from the mass effect trilogy and halo 3.

You obviously play a lot less than I expected.

Yes and my gamer score is 24,021 which is mainly Mass Effect 1,2,3, Assassin's Creed 1,2, Brotherhood, Reverlations, Gears 1,2.

Now there's something I expected. Mine's nearing almost 40k now. Would be higher but I stopped playing Live cause well I actually have to run around in armor carrying a gun. It's not as easy as they make it seem. wink

im an RPG guy though. thats the difference. AC isnt RPG.

Whether it is or is not classified as an RPG is not what matters. It's the fact that it plays almost exactly like one. You'll like it. Believe me. I mean sure you may not get to chose what your character says but... well, he doesn't say that much to begin with... being an assassin and all.

However, it's built like an RPG in a sense. There's the main storyline and then there's little side plots you can do (or not do in some instances). You get an free-roam world, the ability to buy and chose your weapons and armor, a variety of ways to attack and kill your enemies... the list goes on and on. It's a really awesome series. You should at least give it a try.

If you do I would suggest playing it from the 1st game. Even if you don't really like it, just push through. Don't start on the 2nd or the 3rd otherwise you'll be completely lost and you won't understand where anything is headed. So then, you'll decide to go back and play the 1st and be completely pissed off by the fact that you can't do a lot of the stuff you can do in the original AC's predecessors.

In my opinion, though, the 1st AC has to be one of the most challenging. I still go back and play it just to test my true assassin skills without all of Ezio's neat little tricks. wink

Just realized I haven't posted anything in a little over a month now. I'm really ashamed of myself. I should be getting a breather soon though so if we're lucky I'll have a post for both of you within the next week. It's already in the works and I know what I want to write for the parts that haven't hit paper yet so I should get it done. I know it won't make up for this horribly long wait but I do what I can. smile

I'm extremely sorry guys. I mean, really, really, really, really sorry. Life just decided to throw me a really hard curve ball and I've got to deal with it at the moment on top of everything else but I should be back soon. Maybe this weekend or something. *sigh* I'm really trying. I am. It may not seem like it but believe me, I love being on here with y'all and everything.

I don't have time right now to go through all that's been posted in the last week or however long I've been away from y'all but do let Jest know I said congrats on gaining the top poster spot. wink He better keep it up or I may just have to put him back in his place. See y'all soon. And do behave. For me. <3

I'm really sorry, George. I know I haven't posted in forever but writer's block is really killing me. And the fact that I can't get any time to try and get around that writer's block. I will absolutely have something for you by this next weekend. I swear. And I'll make sure it's long and worth it. smile

Most of the party members from the first two game will make appearances in ME3 but the majority of them will only play roles as temporary party members. Bioware said that for ME2, 12 was just too large of a party member selection so they're trimming it down. So far the only one's I know that are confirmed for your permanent party from previous games are Kaidan/Ashely, Garrus, Tali, and Liara.

lol Facebook never really interested me though I did have a friend insist on making me a page so I let her. Not that I ever did anything with it. I barely have time to get on here and stuff. Facebook to me is too much of a distraction. I know people who spend hours on it. My response: WTF?! All you do is look at pictures!

so you do want him to be garrus..... wow....

If they bloody change Garrus' voice actor I will slaughter Bioware. Literally. Brandon Keener makes Garrus sound so f**king awesome.

Jester wrote:

No, But he would be a good voice for a Turian because you tend to meet more Turians that hate humans then you meet that like humans.

The way I see it, Turians don't necessarily dislike humans... they simply find them inferior in a sense. Consider the fact that Turians are a military race. War is the center of their culture. The human body, while capable of wonderful things, is still extremely fragile and vulnerable when directly attacked, especially when compared to that of a Turian. Thusly, humankind is not going to easily gain the admiration of a primitive species which has been hardened by generations of war and bloodshed.

Prince wrote:

that or they just dont care. i hated that turian counselor.

Believe it or not, he was my favorite. I like brash people who don't give a damn what they're saying or who they're saying it to. Granted, he was an idiot for not listening to Shepard but he was still awesome.

Prince wrote:

its gonna mess you up in the third one, though. for a perfect ending, you have to save them.

That is so true... even though canon Shepard is actually Renegade and kills them off... so it makes you wonder.

Jester wrote:

I don't think it will but the first time I play ME 3 I will make a new character for it and play ME 3 without carry over my character from the first 2 games. That way I can see how everything is before hand.

I can't do that cause I like it when I see what I did in the previous game effecting the present one. Like seeing Helen Blake on Omega or Conrad on Illium. I saved right before I went to talk to him and shot him in the foot. I really just had to do it. lol
