I think I have Jade Empire somewhere but never got around to playing it (like so many games).
Also, if you're going down that route you might as well say all sci-fi is X. Yeah, both ME & SW are action based sci-fi worlds, but I think they're different enough. Also they're both excellent. (Though I think I prefer the combat style in ME to KOTOR.)

It's good to see another face on here again. 
I certainly haven't been a member as long as that, but this site is the reason I was about to work out why I couldn't play KOTOR back in the day. I think I only came back to tell you guys that you were right, and then ended up sticking around.

We spent hundreds of hours and a few years driving the story lines and plots forward in here and I have missed it so much.
Plots for what? Just general Star Wars fanfic or video games in general? (Sorry the topic of this conv sorta diverged.)
Pretty much. Didn't they win the "worst company of the year" award like five years running?
They still haven't reintroduced a shopping cart feature on their online store. I'm not kidding, they removed it, and despite years of numerous complaints haven't reinstated it.

I hope they just do something and stick to it. Don’t rush, think through, and listen to all past comments from the good and the bad.
If they were going to have learnt this lesson, they'd have done so after DA2 (which I also love, but it could have been SO much more if EA hadn't dropped the ball.)

(tbf it's probably a fun challenge to not just use the same words over and over, like I do)
But the real question is what are they gonna do for a new game? Prequel, sequel or Andromeda 2.0?
I feel like sequel is out because they'll want to stay as far away as possible from having to deal with the aftermath of ME3. (Wait, you mean there was a bit after marauder shields? )

So they've officially announced that they're remastering the original trilogy and that they're going to work on a new installment.
Despite Andromeda (which wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't as good as ME has been in the past) I'm oddly hopeful about this.

What? Best impulse buy from back in the day when you could go into a shop that still had PC games! Three games for a tenner, picked up the 1st two Dragon Ages and then something daft like Sim City or Rollercoaster Tycoon...
But seriously, I love the Dragon Age games. I just suck at that type of combat apparently. I think the problem is that I'm not a micromanager so I tend to just sort of forget that I need to issue commands to the rest of my party before their health hits something stupid.
And yes you can set tactics up - which I do - but somehow it never seems to quite work well enough.
Or I just suck at video games, which is a possibility I supposed. XD

I'm pretty good at inane chatter once I get going. So, what'd you want? Video games? TV? Movies? Books? Other?
If you've nothing in particular in mind I was going to look up strategy on High Dragons in Dragon Age Origins because a discussion I had yesterday reminded me I'd never managed to crack those. So I'm sure there's a strategy discussion/rant about that video game in there somewhere.
