The Wilderness Story Four
As they reach Kashyyk, Zaalbar confronts Jade on his past and how is has to go with the group when the Ebon hawk lands. Jade steps off the Ebon hawk Carth and Zaalbar follow her with out being asked. “Hmm Carth you becoming my shadow huh? “You betcah.†he says smiling “someone has to look out for someone so beautiful.†Although behind his smile Jade can tell he’s worried about Dustil. “We’ll find him I promise†as she gentle squeezes his hand and he squeezes back. Kashyyk has an earthy smell and a wild feel to it. Jade can feel it deep in her. The Czerka Cooperation is here and she has an instant distrust of them. Greed and corruption is all around them as Wookies are brought and sold as slaves. Jade hates slavery and this screams injustice to her. Carth walks close to her knowing some how she is upset. Not to long after on Kashyyk, Zaalbars brother Chuundar, who Zaalbar attacked, after he found out his brother was selling his people to the slavers, confronts them. He takes Zaalbar hostage and promises only to listen to them after they have done him a favor. Kill the crazy wookie in the Shadowlands. Jade agrees. Carth, Juhani and Jade go down into the Shadowlands.
  “This place feels twisted†she whispers Carth and Juhani agree. Not to far into this adventure they run into Jolee Bindo. An ex Jedi who after they do him a favor agrees to help them. Several times Jade catches Jolee watching her. He is an older man that she’s get the feeling that him and Bastila are hiding something from her and she doesn’t like it, but he seems trust worthy and she senses no meanness from him and his stories though long are amusing. They come to a force field, which as Jolee promised them, shuts it down. They come across a wookie badly hurt and find out there hidden Mandalorians here, but they only attack if your weaponless. “I don’t like this†Carth whispers as Jade walks out in the open with out her light saber, Sure enough she’s attack by the mandalorains three times and then they find the head mandalore one that the wookie has asked for. They return to the wookie and he thanks Jade saying you’re the first honorable outsider he has meet. They run into the crazy wookie who Jolee reveals is Zaalbars father Freyyr, only after mentioning his sons’ does he click back to mental stability. He asks for their help finding a special sword. The catch is they have to a kill a creature that many wookies have tried to kill and failed. Great just great Jade thinks, Fine off we go. After a messy battle they return and Freyyr decides it’s time to stop his son the slaver from selling anymore of his people he ask for help when they are done. Jade agrees.
 After walking around a bit. Around a corner there lies the Star map protected by a computer after much discussion and a mini fight the computer lets them see the star map. The group learns that Revan was here at one time. Jolee suspect the map is why the shadowlands is so twisted. The way back up is a fight. There are some wookies who are still with Chunndar. The battle rages, but with everyone’s help Chunndar is defeated and Freyyr is chieftain again. Zaalbar decides to stay with Jade and honor his life debt. ‘Off too Korriban†she says looking at Carth. When no one else is around Carth grabs her and hugs her ‘â€thanks jade†he whispers. ‘Are you worried’ she asked ‘yeah, yeah I am.†“Don’t worry no mater what we’ll do it together.†He looks at her and for a moment she thinks he might kiss her, but he steps back and walks to the ship. Her torn heart felt confused, wondering if something was wrong.
 Back on the ship Carth takes deep breath oh man he thinks I almost kissed her. He puts his head in his hands. I wanted to so badly. She is becoming so important to me and it scares me. Something is bothering him and he doesn’t know what and he fears something bad is waiting for Jade and it scares him, the thought of losing her scares him so badly he is shaking. How did this happen, her meaning so much to him?
