 Atton RandBastila ShanExile (Female/Light Side)

Author’s Notes: A new series. This is a direct follow-up to the previous series, but does not feature the full cast. For example, Ravenstrike WILL NOT be present in this series. Also, the slain characters will remain slain until later, when ONE comes back. Visas has also mysteriously disappeared. Things may seem dull at first, so I warn you early. Proceed.

What remained of the group was completely devastated. They had never thought this would happen, especially Mission. She still couldn’t believe what had happened. Going back to the house, they couldn’t help but think about what might happen next. Maybe, slowly and quietly, they would turn against each other. Maybe they would disband, forgetting one another and all of the adventures they had been on. Maybe they would join the Sith. Nothing was clear at this point in time.

Such depressing thoughts didn’t have any positive consequences. Mission thought about using her lightsabers to kill the others, and then herself. Mical contemplated becoming a hermit, as Jolee Bindo had done. Bastila knew what she was going to do: Forget the whole situation, and perhaps even her allies. Bao-Dur couldn’t shake thoughts about the Dark Side. Azreth stayed locked in his room. No one dared disturb him. Or Mira, either, for that fact. She was still shaken up. Atton had no idea at all what he was going to do. He was focusing on his family at the moment.

He and Norris had been talking, and she thought it may be best if they split up, with each parent taking one of the children. “No. I don’t want it to be that way. Having them grow up without the other parent…” he told her, tears in his eyes. She was crying, too. “I know,” she said, “but it would probably be the best thing for both of us. And the children. I don’t want them to grow up in a situation where betrayal runs amok.” They continued to talk and cry, holding each other one last time.

Azreth had practically lost his mind. He began writing poems about betrayal and death. He was going to leave all of it behind once he accomplished his plan. He, too, planned to leave the others. And he planned to do it soon. Tonight looked good, while all was still fresh. He gathered his things and packed them up. He would leave when everyone was watching. He poked his head out from his door, and saw them all in the central room. It was now or never. Making no noise as he shut the door, he walked into the central room. Everyone stared him, knowing what was going on. Mission looked at him with hatred. He returned the look, although worse. “I’ve left you a note. I hope you enjoy your lives. Goodbye forever.”

With that, he walked out and to his fighter. He took off into the night sky, presumably never to be seen again. “DAMN!” Atton shouted, slamming his fist into the wall, making a hole in it. “Two betrayals in one day. Now I know why Carth didn’t like trusting people. It’s obvious: They can betray you in a Coruscant minute.” All went silent after this. Mission had gone to his room and found the note, which read “I swore to the razor that never enchained would your dark nails of faith be pushed through my veins again.” On the table was a razor, presumably the one mentioned in the note. There were red spots on it, and they weren’t dry.

Telling the others what she had found, Mission showed them the note and the razor. Gasping in horror, Bastila exclaimed, “He didn’t!” Mission replied, “Yes. He did. I don’t know why, but he did.” “He probably didn’t trust us anymore.” This came from Atton, whose eyes were red from crying. “Figures. I didn’t really trust the guy, anyways.” “This isn’t the time to talk about that, Atton.” This came from Mical, who seemed WAY calmer than usual. Putting such issues aside, the group proceeded to bed, not wishing to be in this day any longer.

The next day, they all woke early. They still were hit hard by the events of the previous day. Two allies left, four were killed. It was a lot to take in. Suddenly, Atton broke out laughing maniacally. “It doesn’t hurt!” he said, a crazed tone in his voice. “It doesn’t hurt to be betrayed! The pain you feel is just an illusion. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!” He continued to laugh crazily. This scared everyone, especially Norris, knowing that this was not her husband. His insanity died down, and he looked around. Feeling embarrassed, he didn’t say a word. And so, it happened. Atton and Norris split up. Atton took Annette, and Norris kept Stryker. Atton left in nothing else but the Ebon Hawk. Surprisingly, T3 went with him. Before leaving, Atton looked out the window sadly. He knew that this may be the last time he ever saw the others.

They rest of the group watched in sorrow as Atton took off. They knew that they may never see him again. This was what pained them about his leaving. As they watched the Ebon Hawk fly off into space, something was happening amidst the rubble on one of the parts of Malachor. Something was stirring. Something evil. Something that would soon threaten the Galaxy. This evil being was familiar, but was not Nihilus, Kreia, Sion, or Malak. It emerges from the rubble. It is revealed to be none other than…

YOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T SPLIT ATTON AND NORRIS UP, AND YOU DID!!!!!!!

  4. Nihilus says:

Shiin, when did I ever say that? Maybe in the previous series, but the rule doesn’t apply for this series.

  5. Darth Shiin says:

    Oh, never mind.

And you said that when we were talking about if I was going to kill Deisa or not.

  6. Nihilus says:

I got news: It’s not gonna be rainbows and sugar in the next story, either.

  7. Darth Shiin says:

    Dang it.

    JK =D

Your stories are getting really depressing, I might stop reading them if they keep being sad.

  8. Nihilus says:

LOL you guys wanted somethingdifferent than Ravenstrike, so I replaced him with depressing elements. The newest story ends happy, but I’ll give you a hint: The ending isn’t obvious.

  9. Darth Shiin says:

    Rather have Rabenstrike than depression.

I mean depression can lead to SUICIDE

  10. Nihilus says:

    Ravenstrike won’t reappear until…IDK when.

  11. Darth Shiin says:

    SUICIDE I TELL YOU!!!!

  12. Nihilus says:

Shiin, depressing elements have been removed from the storyline ever since story 3 in this series.

    *whew*
