Star Wars: KOTOR Story 9-Arden’s Travels
The wind on Lehon was blowing fiercely. Arden had to struggle to stand up. It was practically pushing him away from the direction for which he was headed. He grunted as he struggled forward. He growled at the wind, but it was no use, as the wind didn’t even falter. It would be dark soon, and this would leave him vulnerable to any rogue Rakata. He decided to head back to his ship. Damned wind makes it IMPOSSIBLE for me to get anywhere. When he stepped into his ship, he felt as if he had found paradise. It WAS paradise compared to outside. Having nothing better to do, he dozed off in his quarters.
He dreamed, that night, of an immense temple on some other planet. It looked as if it was on Korriban. There were people he had never seen before around him. One had black lightsabers, and he himself was standing before a corpse. He heard blaster bolts firing. He heard lightsabers blazing. Then, a searing pain cames to his neck, and the dream ended. Arden woke with a sweat, which now drenched his robes. Getting out of bed, he checked the time. It was five in the morning. The wind had died down over the night. Arden was still haunted by his dream. It seemed so real!
Setting out, he went back toward the direction he was going the previous night. With no difficulty, he reached his destination: The hidden temple of Lehon. Here, he searched for anything that referred to the Ancient Sith. All he found were ancient documents. They contained vital information, however, and Arden read them carefully. He discovered that a planet known as Groiorg, an Ancient Sith planet. Downloading the coordinate onto his datapad, he left the temple. Returning to his ship, he was once again haunted by his dream. Plotting the course for Groiorg, he shook off the dream. He wouldn’t let it distract him from the task at hand.
Landing on Groiorg, he could see the devastation that had taken place on it. Structures were destroyed, all was rubble, and only dust thrived. “It looks like Korriban…” Arden remarked, surprised at what he saw. He thought he had gone back to the Galaxy accidentally, but there was no mistaking it: This was Groiorg, for he saw a huge statue that read “We Sith reside here on Groiorg for a reason, and that reason is that we must hide from the growing Republic, for if they discover us, we will perish.” Wasting no time, Arden entered the nearby temple, hoping to find some trace of the Ancient Sith.
Skip forward three weeks. Kreia has just killed the Jedi Masters that had gathered on Dantooine. She goes to Telos to see Atris. Norris goes to Telos to face off against Atris. She defeats the former Council member and leaves her to think about what she has done. We now go to Telos to see what happens to Atris…
