Chapter I
Confessions

On the planet Talravin, there was a small slender, yet strong figure standing near a tombstone within the graveyard. This figure stared down at the tombstone with a sad expression and feeling much sadness within.
It was close to the evening of the day on this planet. The sun was going down, giving the sky an orange and reddish color while a small breeze brushed past the figure.
The figure was a young woman, wearing a tight and flexible body suite with mixed colors of brown and light red. Her hair was long and colored brown with gray colored eyes and an oval face shape. Her height was average, about five feet six inches.
But there was so much more to this figure then her appearance. This young woman had been through so much within her life, that at times, she wondered if most of it all was a dream. But she had always found it to be real.
She had been taken from her family at a very young age to a place called the Jedi Temple on the planet Dantooine, where she had been trained to become a Jedi. She soon became very powerful and was assigned after the Jedi Civil War to stop a dark lord named Revan and his apprentice Malak. As the head of the strike team who boarded Revan’s ship, confronted him and before capturing him, the ship was attacked.
It seemed that Malak had decided to destroy his master to take on the title of dark lord.
The young woman was powerful enough to keep Revan alive and return him to the Jedi Council who changed his identity and sent him on a mission with the young woman to Taris.
But Malak and his Sith Empire destroyed the planet they were on, yet they were able to escape and return to Dantooine.
It was then that this woman was assigned with this young man to stop Malak, which they did, but on their journey they began to have feelings towards each other. Although it changed when he found out his true identity as Revan and then left to the Unknown Regions after saving the galaxy from stopping Malak and his Sith Empire.
This young woman was Bastila Shan.
She stood in front of the grave and gazed upon it with such a sorrowful expression. The person she was mourning was her mother Helena Shan.
It had been a little over a year that she last seen her mother on Tatooine during her journey to stop Malak. Revan had helped her come to terms with her mother. In the past she had not been very close to her mother because of how her father was treated. And when she heard her father was dead, she had blamed her mother at first, but came to realize that she had been very harsh.
She had also discovered that her mother was dieing. Bastila had told her that she wanted to see her mother again, but she never made it in time.
So much had happened and the time seemed to have gone by extremely fast. After she and Revan stopped Malak and destroyed the Sith Empire, they had spent about a year together, but things didn’t end very well. But Revan leaving affected Bastila very much. She had spent time feeling upset with herself and desperately wanted to know why he left her.
It had been four months now that Revan had been gone, yet she had heard nothing from him or his whereabouts. And it was only a week ago, when she discovered that her mother had died.
Bastila immediately returned to her home planet Talravin where her mother was buried. On the way to the graveyard, it felt very strange, but once she found her mothers grave it didn’t feel real. She had wished it was a dream and that her mother was well. She had much to tell her mother, but it was too late now.
Bastila took a deep breath and then let it out slowly, “Mother…its me…your daughter Bastila. I know I said I wanted to see you again, but not like this.” She fought against her sad emotions as she tried to control them. “I fear that you may not have truly forgive my behavior the last time we met. I was just so devastated when you told me father was dead. Along with everything else I was dealing with at the time. It just became such a hard thing to take.”
She felt terrible as she remembered that day. If she could, she would have changed it. “I know you loved father, even though you urged him to continue his travels. But I loved him too. And I never wanted to leave him. Which is why I had blamed you all those years for giving me up. But now…” she took a breath. “Now I realize that in a sense you were only trying to protect me from the dangers of fathers travels. But I still wished things could have been much different.”
Bastila looked away as the sun was almost down. The stars would soon be about in the sky and it would officially be night. She didn’t want to be out here all night, but before she left, she had one more thing to say…a confession.
“I wish you were here so I can say this one thing to your face. A confession,” she took a breath and calmed herself. “I knew you were dieing, yet I had not returned as I said I would. Things had distracted my mind, but there were a few times in the past that I thought of you, yet I didn’t return. Many times I relived our last meeting, yet I didn’t return. I am very sorry mother. I did really want to see you again. I was just…afraid.”
That was it. The one thing she had desperately wanted to tell her mother. That even though with all her training as a Jedi, that with all the power she had, she was afraid. And admitting that was a hard thing to do, yet she had finally done it.
“Goodbye, mother,” she bowed, “I will truly miss you.” She then laid a few flowers on the grave and then retuned to the city of the planet where she rested through the night.

Chapter II
Remembrance

Deep in the Unknown Regions was an enormous shadow wondering around the far edges of space, searching for something. Something very dangerous and could cause a great threat to the galaxy. A threat greater then any had ever seen, was hiding in the Unknown Regions and only one man was hunting it down…alone.
This man had a dark past. He was once known as the greatest and most powerful dark lord of the Sith ever known to the galaxy. He had extraordinary and wondrous powers greater then any Sith or Jedi Knight. And once had an entire Sith Empire at his command. This great empire that casted darkness wherever it passed by was ruled by non-other then the great and powerful dark lord Revan himself.
The dark lord who was once betrayed by his apprentice and used as a pawn by the pathetic and weak Jedi. But as a Sith, he knew that one day someone would challenge him for the title of dark lord. So was it still strange to think why his apprentice had challenged him?
Revan placed his left hand under his chin as he searched for an answer. But he had non. It was the way of the Sith to challenge the dark lord. That was how it had been since the beginning of his kind. A master would teach his pupil and when the day came, that master would be challenged by his pupil to see who was the most powerful. Their kind destroyed all who were weak.
But did this really matter. His apprentice was dead now, slaughtered by his own hands.
Revan looked down at his gloved palmed hand and soon images of the past flashed through his mind. Seeing himself stand above his dieing apprentice, hearing his last words and knowing that he had reclaimed the title that was rightfully his. The title that his apprentice had for many years, while he was under the control of the Jedi.
Flash!
He saw an image of himself, yet it wasn’t really him, but of a man he had once been. Just like the Jedi he once was, before he turned to the dark side. But this man was very different then any he had known. He had been a simple soldier for the Jedi on what was supposed to be a simple mission, but turned into a conquest to stop a dark and evil man, whom he thought he had never met or known before.
Throughout his journey he had been having vision and strange dreams. But it wasn’t until he faced Darth Malak that he discovered who he really was. From that moment, his life had changed from being an ordinary man; to the greatest and most powerful dark lord the galaxy had ever known.
It was then that he decided what his fate was. He had been given a second chance to change things. And it was a young Jedi woman named Bastila Shan who helped him realize the true path. He would follow the ways of the Jedi, stop Malak and destroy the Sith Empire.
But during the journey, he had begun to get close to the young Jedi. Soon both had feelings towards each other, which they had continued for the next year, but he left not long after. He wanted to stay, not just for the Republic’s sake, but also for Bastila.
One night he had remembered something from his past that had to be deal with. It was that night that he left, without saying goodbye. He knew his friends would want to help him face what he feared, but he knew that if he allowed them to come, they would die. And that was something he couldn’t bare to see happen.
Revan took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He was remembering his last conversations with his companions. He had told the retired mandalorian to gather his brethren and go to a planet and wait until he would return. He also told the republic soldier to stay and help the republic. But Bastila…he felt a small pain in his chest.
There last conversation didn’t end well. He knew she cared much for him and he did the same for her. But it was his fear that stood between them. His fear of losing her. Revan wanted to bring her along, but knew that if he did, she would probably die as well as any others who would have come along.
This dangerous threat was greater then his apprentice Malak. The journey would be a hundred times worse then their previous journey together. So he knew he would have to go alone. There was a change that he would die on this journey. But that didn’t matter to him. What mattered was to find at least a way to prolong this threat, long enough for the republic to be ready, if the worst was to come.
Revan got up and walked over to a desk, grabbed his data-pad and returned to his large chair he was sitting on.
He began searching for something within the data-pad. It wasn’t long until he found it. A smile formed on his face as he gazed upon a picture he had of a young Jedi woman named Bastila. He had had this picture for some time and would look at it very often. Wishing he could change how things were between them.
I only wished I could tell you right now, in this very moment, how much I care fore you and what I would do to make things better between us. But it is my fear that has come between us. I don’t want to admit this, but I may never see you again. But I will always been in your heart.

Chapter III
Alone

Bastila Shan did not sleep well through the first night on the planet Talravin. There were too many memories flooding through her mind. She remembered a bit of her childhood, just before being given up to the Jedi. She remembered her father, who she was very close too and loved very much.
At the time, she didn’t really understand human emotions until many years later. And when she did understand, there was much anger and almost hatred towards her mother for giving her up and pushing her father into dangerous travels.
But now, both her father and mother would dead. Which was why things felt so strange back on her home planet. It just wasn’t the same without them being alive. They were missing pieces to her that she would never be able to put back together.
Through the night, she struggled to get sleep. But when she did fall asleep, she would dream of her parents. Dream of that day she last saw her mother. She would wake after hearing herself call out her mother or fathers name. But it wasn’t until she heard herself call out Revan’s name that she realized she was alone.
She had no one anymore.
Bastila didn’t understand why this was happening to her. Why everyone she had ever cared about was gone forever. She wanted to hope that she would see Revan again, but it had been so long and she couldn’t stop herself from imagining the worst.
Part of her felt like dieing, knowing that she would be so alone, and the other part wished she had never met Revan. Or maybe never been given to the Jedi. She was even willing to sacrifice her power to make things better.
I know I have been trained to control my emotions, but I never truly am able to. It is my weakness that will probably destroy me one day. She wiped some of the tears away. I knew I wasn’t the right one to have gone with Revan. I failed in so many ways on the journey. She couldn’t help but count the different reasons. I failed when I couldn’t control my feelings towards Revan. I was captured and gave in to the dark side. And I almost destroyed the Republic and the Jedi. Bastila could barely think. The republic may have been victorious, but I truly failed.
Things were just out of control and she needed help. But where would she go. Who did she know and trust enough to help her regain her strength. Perhaps the Jedi Council may have a solution to help me.
After several moments thinking about this, she decided it was the best chance she had to gain back control of herself. She was falling apart and needed their wisdom.
She began packing her things then headed to her ship and punched in the hyperspace coordinates for the planet Dantooine.
And for the time she waited until arrival, she sat in the cockpit seat and rested. Trying her hardest to relax herself. She needed time to think and rationalize everything.
Yes. She had been deeply affected by Revan. But she needed to be strong and move past that. She needed to realize that he chose to leave them. That she had done all she could to explain how much she cared for him. And if he didn’t want to accept it out of fear or his troubling past, then that was not a man she was willing to sacrifice everything for.
She only wished to understand the reason why he left. That was the only thing that was bothering her. Conflicting her mind to come to fully understand his actions and for why.
Bastila would have to try and come to terms with this situation. And if she didn’t, there was a chance that this affect would possible destroy her.
I realized now why the Jedi try their best to cut off emotions towards others since it has such a great affect on those who allow it. My only hope is that the Council will be able to help me and that it won’t be too late to save me from falling to a dark and lonely path.

Chapter IV
Awaiting

Deep in the Inner Rim worlds, there is a planet with four moons, known as Onderon with a highly advanced culture and ruled by royal families. A planet that was once the very beginnings of the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars.
The wars stretched from the planet to its primary moon, known as Dxun, which is filled with jungles and dangerous wildlife. Not many come to Dxun and if they have, its because they’ve crash landed and not by choice. But not many survived when they get attacked by the fierce creatures that roam the land.
Much blood has cured the land of this moon.
There was a Mandalorian clan hiding on this planet. But they had not gone there by choice. The leader of the clan known as Canderous Ordo had been told by Revan to take his clan here and wait for his return.
That had been four months ago when the Mandalorian was told. But he never really wondered how long he would have to wait. He was very loyal to Revan. And if it meant waiting for many years, then he would do that. Revan had done many things for him, so it was the least he could do in return.
Canderous had wanted to accompany Revan, but he wouldn’t allow it. Revan had told him to stay behind and gather his clan, so that when he return, Canderous would be ready. But for what, he did not know. And Revan had never told him.
He remembered the morning when he heard that Revan had left. He knew that it was time to leave his companions from his pervious journey to find his clan, travel to Dxun and await Revans return.

Canderous leaned back against the wall of his quarters. He was wearing a Mandalorian suit and holding the helmet with his right hand against his side and his Repeating Blaster in his left hand. He was trying to rest for a few moments, but was still alert to his surroundings. He seemed ready…for something. But I have nothing to be ready for that I’m aware of. The last few months have gone by fast.
Since he hadn’t done a lot since he arrived, it was hard to remember the past days. Mostly he would browse around the campsite or watch his brethren train in combat.
His mind was wondering.
Just the other day, he and two members of his clan had gone through the jungle and were attacked by some large creature. He had a small scar on his right side from being scratched, but that was a symbol of being in battle. A great honor for most Mandalorians.
He grunted as he remembered.
Suddenly he heard footsteps coming near. The door of the room opened and he slowly opened his eyes. He was extremely surprised with what he saw, that he felt as if he was dreaming.
“Revan?” he asked.
Was this real? Had his time of waiting finally come to an end? Was this the time for battle to begin once again.
He saw Revan come in and walked up to him.
“You’ve return?” Canderous said. “What is to be done now?” Canderous stood straight and awaited for a command.
“Sir,” Revan said.
Canderous had an odd expression. That’s not his voice. “What kind of trick are you playing, Revan?” he seemed a bit irritated and wanted an answer.
“Umm…sir,” Revan stepped back, “This is no trick.”
It was then that Canderous’s eyes truly opened.
Revan was not there. He had never been there. It was only in his mind. In front of him was one of his men. A younger Mandalorian.
Canderous let his breath out, “I’m sorry, kid. I’m just tired.” Canderous rubbed his eyes. “What is it?”
The young Mandalorian observed his leader. “Sir, you don’t look so good. You’ve been up for two days now. Is something the matter.”
“No…not really,” Canderous replied. “I’ve just been thinking about the past. About Revan’s last words.”
“Oh,” the Mandalorian nodded. “Alright. Well I only came to tell you that the satellite tower is up and operational. We can now tell if any ships come into the atmosphere of the moon.”
That was good news to hear. They had been working in the last month on building the structure as well as trying to get the satellite working. But now that it was done, they would be able to locate anyone on the moon. He had made a brief comment a few days ago saying that without this satellite, they were as blind as a Bantha. “Excellent.”
“I guess I’ll be going,” the Mandalorian replied. “Take care of yourself, Sir.”
Canderous stood for a moment watching as the young kid left and then he plopped on his bed. His mind was stilling wondering through his past.
Things just seemed very strange at this moment. It was like something had happened, yet he didn’t know what it was.
I’m jus tired and need some sleep. I’m sure my head will clear when I wake up.
Canderous placed his helmet on a small table near the bed and set his blaster on the floor as he laid on the bed and began to fall asleep.

Chapter V
Troubled Times

“Do you have any idea what you are talking about?” one the Jedi Council Members seemed very outraged by the young Jedi Knights words. He had always been untrustworthy and frustrated by the young. This was Master Vrook.
Bastila was beginning to feel ashamed after hearing his question. She lowered her head and closed her eyes. “Masters,” she lifted her head up a bit, “I have failed in so many ways. You have had been victorious during the assault on the Star Forge, but if it hadn’t of been for me…things would be a lot different.”
“Bastila,” Master Vandar began, “You are too hard on yourself, at times. But you have made a clear and true statement of your previous actions during that mission. It was us that assigned you to the mission.”
Bastila thought she wasn’t hearing him well. Is he trying to blame himself? She continued listening.
“If you are saying that because of your journey with Revan has greatly affected you,” he paused a moment. “That it would seem that the blame should not be on you, but us.”
“Master Vandar!” Vrook interrupted, “Do you hear yourself? As we always say, a Jedi cannot be made to fall. It is there choice.” “But what choice do they have, if forced into a situation that we were blind to,” Vandar began to make sense, even if Vrook didn’t want to admit it.
Bastila had to interrupt. Things are not going as smoothly as she thought they would, “Masters, please. If I had known it would have been this way, I may not have returned here.” She paused to take a breath a clear her mind. “I have come for your wisdom to help free my mind. Things didn’t go as we planned with Revan. And I did not anticipate that he would get so close to me as he did.”
There was much confusion and frustration within this room. But it wasn’t all because of Bastila. Things had been very strange here on Dantooine. Ever since Malak and his Sith Empire came and destroyed their temple, they had to rebuild again. And ever though they had done a lot, it didn’t look like much had been done.
Master Vrook had just come from a talk with a young troubled Jedi student. And he was not pleased after talking with his master. And now to run into a situation with another student, it was like all hell was braking lose.
“I do not blame you, Bastila for what Revan did,” he admitted. “I had feared much when he began his training once again. I knew that there was a possibility of him remembering his old identity. But I fear now that he has gone, that he may have reclaimed it once again.” He looked to Master Vandar, “We may need to fear of his return.”
This caught Bastila off guard and suddenly her emotions got the better of her, “What are you saying? He saved us and the Republic was Malak and the Sith Empire! If it wasn’t for him, we would all probably be dead, by the hands of Malak!”
“See!” Vrook pointed towards Bastila, “There are your emotions kicking in. You cared for Revan, and when anyone says something against him, you always defend him…like…like he’s some sort of hero to look up to.”
“That is not true!” Bastila replied. “I don’t think I can stand this any longer. You are wrong about me…about Revan and what we are?”
“Bastila, please,” Master Vandar pleaded, “As harsh as Vrook is, he is right. Your emotions have clouded your judgment. You cannot see past them. You were always struggling with that, and you still are.” Vandar took a few steps closer to her as she knelt to his height. “Revan affected you greatly when he was with you, but now he is not.”
She lowered her head and took a deep breath in, then let it out slowly, “Master Vandar,” she began. But deep inside of her, she was telling her self to not do this, but she didn’t have any other choice. Revan was gone and she was a Jedi, “…what must I do to erase these feelings for Revan.”

Chapter VI
Lost

Suddenly, Revan woke from his sleep and jumped to his feet. Something had happened. Something terrible. His mind was still dizzy from waking up so quickly from his sleep as well as jumping up so fast. He calmed him mind down so he could get a true sense of what he was felling inside.
He used the Force to slow his heartbeat and breathing.
And once he calmed down, he began analyzing the sense he had received.
Master…Vandar… he heard the name echo in his mind, but the voice was of Bastila. He focused hard on the Force. It was as if the bond they shared was connecting to their thoughts and emotions.
…what must I do… Again, the words echoed in his mind. He thought that maybe since they were so far from each other, their Force bond connection was having trouble connecting.
…to erase these feelings for Revan…
Suddenly, he realized what was happening. She’s abandoned me. Our love we once had.
It was clear after hearing her words in his mind that she had decided to move on. To let go of the emotions she had for him. And he already knew the reason. She wants to be a Jedi. Jedi do not love. He sat down on the side of his bed and held his head in his hands.
He was beginning to feel empty. The only person he had truly cared about was moving on. And it was obvious after hearing one of the Jedi Council Masters names, that she was asking them to help her remove any such feelings she had towards him.
I’ve lost her.
Deep pain began burrowing through his heart as his mind repeated the words in his head over and over again. There was nothing he could do now to save the relationship between them. Even if he left right now, she would not renounce their love that they had once had. Everything was gone. He was lost.
He lifted his head up a bit. I can never return now. For if I were to gaze upon her face, all the memories will flood my mind and bring unbearable pain. Once I destroy this thread, I will either hide for the rest of my years or die trying to stop this great threat. But I can never return.
That was it. He had made his finally decision for his life. Revan had nothing to return to. No one would be waiting for him. He would soon be a mere memory to all who knew him. A memory that would soon pass and be forgotten.
Bang!
Revan jumped up from the shock as his ship rocked. What was that? He grabbed his cloak and boots then headed through his ship to the cockpit. The computer was reading a large ship sending a tractor beam. But he was too late to get away, for his ship was being pulled towards the larger ship.
Once his ship was pulled close enough towards the larger ship, someone began to board upon his. A panel from his ship busted open and six assassin droids entered with blasters aiming at him.
“Don’t shoot him…yet,” a deep voice from within said. A dark figure entered the ship and stopped only a few feet from Revan.
It was a man with dark clothes and a cape. He was extremely tall, averaging to about six foot two inches. Revan thought he was staring at a human tower.
He had dark green eyes, an oval shaped face, a mustache, tanned skin and no hair.
Revan had no idea who this man was, but seemed to be a threat.
“You are Revan, are you not?” he asked.
Revan took a moment to decide whether to answer or not, “Yes…I am. Who are you and why have you boarded my ship!” he replied demandingly.
The dark man grinned, “My name is Darth Sullan. And I have come to face you.”
“Why?” Revan asked. I sense he is a Sith as well as the dark side from him, but I have never heard of him. I wonder where he came form.
Darth Sullan chuckled. “Why to claim the title of Dark Lord of course.” He walked past Revan through the halls and then turned to him, “Surely you didn’t think you would claim it forever did you.” He turned to the droids, “Search his ship. Bring me anything of value.”
The droids began through the ship.
“How dare you-
A red blood laser blade interrupted him, “I don’t think you want to test me.”
“If you think I am the dark lord, you are wrong?” Revan told him. “I am redeemed. I have returned to the light.”
Sullan seemed confused. He thought Revan was tricking him. “I do not believe you.”
“Well it is true,” he began, “My apprentice had taken the title, while I was with the Jedi. I was on a mission a few months ago and I killed Malak and saved the Republic. As far as I know, there are no Sith…except for you now.”
“What has become of the Sith Empire?” he demanded to know.
Revan grinned, “Destroyed.”
“This news displeases me.”
“Sorry,” Revan replied.
One of the droids came up to Sullan and handed him a data-pad. He grabbed it and activated it. He looked through the files, until he came across something that was of most interest to him. “You say you are a Jedi, now?”
Revan nodded. He wanted to attack this man, but three of the droids had their blasters pointed right towards his head. Even with the Force, he wouldn’t be able to block the lasers. “Yes.”
Sullan grinned, “From what I know of the Jedi, they do not allow emotions to cloud them. Especially love.”
“That’s right,” he confirmed.
Darth Sullan turned to Revan, “Then why do you have a picture of a woman in your data-pad?”
Revan froze. It was as if his heart stopped beating. No!
Sullan saw his expression and knew that he had touched a raw nerve. And he was delighted by it. It was then that he knew exactly what he would do. He wanted to claim the title of dark lord, but a mere lightsaber battle wouldn’t do. He wanted to ruin this man. Torture him to the point of insanity. And then he would kill him. “Take him to his cell,” he ordered the droids. “I want to find this young woman.”
“No!” Revan yelled as he was being pulled through Darth Sullans ship.
This wasn’t happening. He had not allowed Bastila to come along with him, so she would not be in danger, to protect her. And now it was all for nothing. Revan didn’t even fight the droids. He was in too much pain. He was lost. And in his mind, he was calling out to her…for help…to save him.

    good.

I probably guessing that you don’t know how to make the little icon pictures.

So, one of the blue triangles on the right will say, “Catagories.” There will be a plus sign on the box and you click on the plus sign and then select who is in your story or mentioned in your story.

and make sure that “Knights of the old republic” is selected as a catagory.

    good story again.

  2. Shiin says:

and to make the words italic you click on the i that is in the triangles write below the title and right above the story.

With with bold you click on the B at the top.

  3. Shiin says:

MaggONasi, who was the sith lord who had that tomb that the creepy hermit lived in in KOTOR I?
