Re: Question

Well I can go through mass effect in 24 hours. With a ton of side quests involved too. So maybe 18 hours.

Re: Question

I mean, I think I know how to avoid a bunch of the side quests... the problem is overcoming the little voice that isn't happy with unsolved quests in my log in games.

Re: Question

Well maybe just focus on the side quests that expand the story.

Or ones with funny companion observations.

So that's all of Korriban with HK...

HK is best droid. No offense to T3.

But useless in combat, like all non force users in the same.

But that's why nerds invented mods.  big_smile

Re: Question

I wouldn’t say useless. Just find the right build.

Alright, alright. But meat shields do have use.

They're fun to annoy?

Re: Question

The only person worth annoying is G0-T0

I guess because I was able to be the big hitter and the tank, just set them to grenadiers and I just go off.

Re: Question

Hm, maybe I need to get better at building tanks. I tend to play towards using all the powers (magic/biotics/force/other depending on game) so that doesn't usually make me the most durable, and I probably don't focus on making anyone to fill that role.

Re: Question

Mostly I make a person who can stay in the thick of it and if I need to retreat, get out fast, so I can back in fast. Mostly because I’m the only person I trust to get it done on the battlefield. And that covers most games.

Re: Question

And that's what the power of fire is for. tongue

Tbf, I'm pretty certain I end up in the thick of it too often as a support type player. Because I make a support load out and then trust no one else because I forget to micromanage NPCs. (I tend not to play multiplayer.)

So you’re like; I’m in danger, but it’s MY danger.

Re: Question

Kinda. And I forget to just run away and let someone else deal with it, mainly because I assume that if I do that then that character will just get shanked whilst I run.

I tend to do okay after setting everyone to attack whoever the controlled character is attacking.

Re: Question

Most of the time I focus on one person and my amigos set to another. Ik I can take it. But from an earlier comment about your party just waiting to get back up from every single fight.

I could imagine a fanfic now. Everyone on the ground, only because they don’t have a lightsaber or the force. All droid destroyed and everyone else scattered or splattered on the floor.

Meat shields.

Re: Question

I mean, I might've exaggerated a bit, but they go down a lot easier than they should. Yes, Wrex and Canderous, I'm looking at you two. I don't expect better from Carth.

Re: Question

Canderous and Wrex would be so good together. I need those two to somehow cross paths. Maybe a mass effect relay can send people to a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

I need a scientist to help with this.

Re: Question

As a scientist I can confirm it is possible to bullshit the science to fit this.

There's the classic Star Trek thing; some kind of malfunction or strange fluctuations in the mass relay as the ship is about to launch, resulting in a quantum (or chromiton or other made up time sounding phenomena) shift that means you've arrived in the intended destination, just way too early or way too late. Depending on how long we're talking you might be able to blag the relative position of stars/relays/planets etc as then dumping the ship in a different galaxy.

Or you take a similar malfunction but instead it's linked to a relay on the other side of dark space to a different galaxy that the Reapers are also conducting experiments on (I mean, why not?) so you arrive at the wrong relay and boom, two birds one stone.
