You play piano? Sweet. I took two years of of piano lessons but it never turned into anything really.

yeah, I don't play like I should. I took for several years, but the past few years i haven't done much with it. I can still jam along tho and pick up most stuff.

That's cool. I got a lot of theory when i was learning, and that helped me learn to play by ear pretty well, which is good when i'm playing bass with the band. B)

it does sound good. those classical composers always put a lot of thought into their songs. and the piano is such a diverse instrument too.

that's what really separates the men from the boys in any music realm, really building a song rather than just throwing some music and words together

that's something I eventually want to work with my band on, putting a lot of time into writing songs and not just throwing them together.
