Re: Assassin's Creed III

Konah, You were right about the ending because it was really weak and during the game play I wish that you still had the hooked blade and throwing knifes because I really missed those two items.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

Those were amazing weapons and the ending was s**t.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

Haven't got to the ending yet but I miss those weapons as well. I used to love being able to kill three people at once with my knives.

Guards: Get him!
Ezio: *prepares throwing knives*
   *throws*
Guards: Gah-! *all die in unison*
Ezio: *smug assassin grin* Cagna per favore... non può toccare questo!
                                            (b**ch please... can't touch this!)

Re: Assassin's Creed III

I loved that Starr, Great job.  cool

I know 1 achievement that I hate trying to get is the Common Man one because I am trying to get it now.

I also wish that they gave you a choice at the end to what you wanted to do and what you wanted to happen.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

I also hate having to sit through the end credits to get a achievement because it takes around 30 mins to get to the end of all the credits. Also if anyone else has beat the game and got past the credits it gives you 3 little missions to do but it is just watching what happened and talk to a few people but you learn what happened after the war and I noticed that in Boston or New York you see your first glimps of the start of slavery in the United States.

I believe that the nest AC game will more then likely take place during the Civil War and if it dose not then they are stupid.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

They'd actually be very, very stupid to do a game based during the Civil War. There is plenty of racial tension in this country as it is without some major game developer opening up old wounds and revealing how the entire bloody struggle unfolded.

The Revolutionary War was one of the greatest moments in our history... when we struggled against all odds and, by the grace of God Himself, prevailed. Don't sully it by bringing to light a war which should have never had to taken place.

Slavery should have never been part of our culture, or any culture. All men were created equal. No exceptions.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

Does anyone have any family members that faught during the Civil War and if so what side did the fight on?

My Great-Great-Great-Great-Grand Father faught during the Battle of Perryville, Kentucky and died there. He was a Sargent in the Confedrate Army and is buried at the Perryville Battlefield in Perryville, Kentucky.

My family history is full of war heroes actually. I also have a ancestral family member who fought in the Civil War... but for the Union. He was the son of a Southern plantation owner and when he inherited the farm he let all the slaves go. When the Civil War broke out, he joined the Union.

Both my grandfathers served in WWII as Marines. One received the Purple Heart. The other had various awards including a Bronze Star with four oak leaf clusters...

My Dad served in Vietnam and rose to the rank of Major. His youngest brother (my uncle) served in the Gulf War. He was a POW for five months.

I served as a member of the 13th MEU and earned the rank of Corporal.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

First off tell your dad that I am glad that he made it back from Nam and thank him for his service.

My mother's father was not a inlisted man in WW2 but he was a member of I believe the Seven Seas which were men who went to small islands and jungle areas to make landing strips for the military.

My father's father was a Sargent in the 101th Air Bourn during WW2 and after the war ended he and others were members of the Knight Riders which is NOT the kkk or anything like that but they protected women from abusive husbands and cattle/horse theifs.

My father wanted to serve in the Vietnam war but because he had heart troubles since he was a kid they told him that they would only take him if they needed him.

It's so sad to see what America has become when so many great people have stood and fought for her. Have died for her...

Re: Assassin's Creed III

I know one thing, If America does not keep out of other countries affairs then America will not be around for much longer.

On another not I found out that I had 2 Great Uncles on my Father's side that were soldiers in the German Army and faught on the front lines against the Russians. They both survied the war and 1 died 20 years after the war in the USA and the other died in 1982 in Berlin, Germany.

Re: Assassin's Creed III

Yeah.

I have found in AC 3 that the game has some glitches because I have found all the Chests but it keeps saying that I missed 1 which is a lie. The second glitch is I got all the activity logs updated for the Common Man Achievement but it keeps saying that I only have 2/3 for the woodworker and when I got to see him work it tells me that his log is complete. So far these are the only 2 main problem glitches that I have came across. A small glitch that I have found is you can get stuck in rocks, trees, and doors if you land or enter/exit in a strange way.

Over All I give AC 3 a score of 8/10.
