Heh, well the media shows people rioting in the streets because they hate him. Besides, he's no real friend of ours. Like, at all. He's not Ahmendinijad, but he's not a Netanyahu either. Untrustworthy.
Rule No1. Don't trust the media. People in Russia really like him and those protesters are paid by UK and USA governments (maybe because he's no real friend of yours).
Anyway, I trust Putin more than any other politician.
Hey, I like Putin too because he has been a better President then any President that we have had in the past 20 years. I support Putin and wish him all the luck in this term.

He's a "politician". you cant trust any of them. and the idea of the united states paying people to protest is absurd. don't tread any further on this topic...for you own sake. you've been warned.

I have traced my family history all the way back to Trannslyvania which is now Romania from a small town called Pele. The only thing really left is the Pele Castle but that means George and I are country men.

There are some who say that Romanians are actually Serbs who were romanized, because up until late 18th and early 19th century Romanians were writing in the same letters that Serbs did (Cyrilic - it looks similar to Russian letters) but then they changed their language and their letter. Don't know why though.

I don't talk s**t, I talk facts. And you are the one that always brings up this subject. I always try to avoid just for this reason. You should too.
It is hard for me to stay neutral between you to when are all start talking this way but I say we keep it friendly because all this fighting is getting old fast.
Also, I did not know that George and thanks for telling me because that is cool to know.

I did not think I would ever say that I am getting tied of the fighting but I am so lets watch and not start wars but a good heated convo is okay.
while we're keeping in the tradition of "talking facts", the government corruption in Russia is insane. so Putin gets his two terms, has his prime minister succeed him, turns back around and appoints Putin prime minister and a few years later he's president again. why not just amend your constitution (you do know what that is, dont you?) to have a president serve more than 2 consecutive terms?

Real incomes more than doubled and the average monthly salary increased sevenfold from $80 to $640. From 2000 to 2006 the volume of consumer credit increased 45 times and the middle class grew from 8 million to 55 million. The number of people living below the poverty line decreased from 30% in 2000 to 14% in 2008.
So you can't say Putin is bad for Russia.
I wish the US had a President that would half that for the US instead of turning the US into a 3rd world country like it has started to look since Obama and Bush have been President.

did i say putin is bad for russia? no, not really. i said if he's so good (<--- see that word: good.) amend the constitution so he can serve more consecutive terms instead of going through all the ring-around.
He did change it. Now they are electing a president every 6 years instead of 4.
you still didnt answer my question. i didnt ask about length. i said consecutive terms.
I think they will change that again to make it longer if he kee up the great work.
