It depends on how it happens really. Like for the FU2 I didn't mind at all. 
When it seemed like MC had disappeared into the void of space never to return again, however, I was extremely pissed. But I knew they wouldn't let the Halo series's greatest hero go like that.

FU2 is better then the first one but it was not long enough gameplay because they should have went to more planets then they did. I wounder if they are making FU3 because of how the lightside ending was like.
I don't know what it would be about. I mean Boba Fett rescues Darth Vader obviously so Starkiller has to be killed eventually to make canon fit. I don't know what a 3rd one could be made about.
It could be about if you pick the lightside then you have to fight the Empire and help stop Boba Fett from freeing Vader. It you pick the Darkside then you play as Boba Fett to help the Empire crush the rebels and free Vader.
But Vader is on a ship. So it would only be a level on that ship since Boba is tailing them and like he always does: get 'em when their pants are down. lol They'll never know what happened and he and Vader will steal away.
Now I'd love to play a game where you could be Boba Fett working for the Empire. Or just Boba Fett. Like a free roam game where you can decide which bounties and jobs to take. Oh wait... that's TOR!!! YEAH!!! If they let you do stuff like that. I do so hope they have bounties and stuff and I have to kill other bounty hunters to get my prize!

Well I do have some kinda code of honor I suppose. I am going to be a Mandalorian bounty hunter after all. 
I thought the force unleashed 2 had some pretty good cut scenes. and recorded that and some gameplay and added some music that im uploading to youtube. its like 9 mins the original is like an hour long. but yeah FU2 was way to short for me i beat it in 4 1/2 hours the other day
I liked the scene where Starkiller gets pissed because Vader "killed" Juno xD
Darkside ending... favorite cutscene. Hands down.
Boring
The game is short but the Darkside is the best of the 2 endings.
The Light side ending is slightly longer 
True but it is not as good as the Darkside ending.
Really. The darkside ending is just like BAM! IN YOUR FACE! OMG YOU JUST GOT TOTALLY OWNED BY AN EVIL CLONE OF YOURSELF! FROM BEHIND! AND THE GIRL YOU WENT THROUGH ALL THIS FOR DIES! EPIC FAIL!
Lightside ending is like Awww... that's sweet. The girl lives and you finally ends up being able to be with her. The universe is at peace and Vader is captured. Or so everyone thinks... ENTER BOBA FETT!!! *badass commando music, blaster noises, rocket launchers, people dying, lasers, lightsabers, EXPLOSIONS!!!* Fett. Boba Fett.
Only that last part wasn't in the game. If it had been then yeah... lightside would have completely kicked darkside's ass.
I liked the twist at the end when you find out that you are a clone because I thought that I was the real Starkiller.
