Rank: Corperal

Background: Originally picked for the Spartan II project, Xavior was not chosen due to the budget cutbacks. Later, he enlisted and earned the rank of corperal.

Specialty: Though he carries limited weapons, Xavior's physical speed is incredible. He trained in all forms of martial arts as a young adult, and became a deadly hand-to-hand combat specialist. He uses guns, but prefers knives and an electrically charged sword that he created for fighting machines.

Nationality: USA (southern); Shows his southern pride with the rebel flag painted on his knife and gun handles.

Jay: (Walks over to wounded Elite)

Elite: (Purple blood slushes out of his chest) "Haha... You humans... will not... step... on... the holy... ring..." (He chuckles a bit, and finally bleeds out)

Jay: "Holy Ring? Sounds like religious point... Alright, head inside the escape pod!"

(Meanwhile...)

Thell: "Of course. Thanks for informing me, brother."

LSM, we're currently evacing the Pillar of Autumn. So you basically just need to run into an escape pod.

Jay: (Runs into the escape pod) "We breach down on the ring bellow!" (Grabs Em's hand, and pulls her in)

Pilot: "Aye-Aye sir!"

* The pod fires off if the hatch and shoots off towards the Halo Ring... *

(Meanwhile...)

Thell: (Nods) "Officer Vali 'Nexoee."

Vali: (low growl)
(makes a small movement with her head)

(the five memebers of her squad spread out over the ship, taking up positions)

Vali: (looks back at Thell)
No time for introductions, P'haux. Du'esee wishes to speak with us.
(heads towards the Phantom's controls)

...Meanwhile...

Em: (looks out the window towards the Halo Ring)
I got a bad feeling 'bout this... I remember last time we messed with something the Covie called 'religious'. Didn't end pretty either.

Grim: (Com to anybody) I have lost my engines and life support is damaged so I need to know the landing zone!!

Grim: (Trys to hold the pod on course as the pod shakes and starts to get closer to the ring)

Grim: (Com) Mayday!!! Mayday!!!, I am going in hot and I need that landing zone!!!

Grim: Screw it!!

(The pod enters the ring's orbit and hits the ground with such force it slits the pod into 2 parts)

Grim: (Regains balance and stands up as I look out the open pod)

Grim: Well this sucks something wicked.

Grim: (Checks the homming device and sees that it is still working)

Grim: (Com to Jay) I have landed but I am the only 1 to make it out.

Grim: (Walks out of the pod)

Grim: (Com to Jay) My location is in seeing distance of what looks like a small town.

Xavior: Blasted comm device probably shorted out too.

*Xavior tries the controls. the quick response shocks him and nearly sends him flying from the seat. regaining his position, Xavior begins to steadily bring the pod into a level flight*

*an alert sound has been going off the entire time, and seeing a button flashing in sequence with the alert sound, Xavior presses it*

Xavior: Enough already! I'd give my right arm for an auto pilot right now!

AI: Welcome to escape module H-56. Please wait while your current status is evalutated.

Xavior: does this mean you're gonna claim my arm now?

AI: There is...1...life form aboard this ship. Communications have malfunctioned. Life support is at 85%. Radar contacts include multiple friendly space craft. ......A friendly homing signal has been detected. Escape Module H-56 will now enter orbit and begin planetary entry sequence.

*The escape pod nears the planet, streaking through the atmosphere, and begins a final approach*

AI: Warning. Designated landing area is smaller than recommended surface space. Do you wish to abort.

Xavior: Um........how much smaller.

AI: ......Designated landing area is...89% total surface area of minimal landing zone requirements. VTOAL systems are fully operational, but not recommended after planetary entry.

Xavior: That's good enough for me. Take it in.

AI: Nearing destination. Final approach sequence initiated.

*The escape pod engages the Vertical Take-Off and Landing thrusters, slowing it considerably, and it is able to land within a few yards of Grim's wrecked pod. The final approach speed was great enough to make the pod dig into the ground, and Xavior again was nearly thrown from the pilot seat*

Xavior: Another happy landing. And they wonder why I hate flying so much.

Em: (shakes her head, stumbling out of her seat)
Hell, they weren't kidding when they said it'd be rough.
(she looks at Jay)
I'll be fine. I'm tougher than most.

...Phantom, controls...

(a male Sangheili wearing silver and gold armor comes over the comm screen)

Laus: (he nods slightly) Thell, Vali. Vali has already been given orders to some extent, but I will go over them for you, Thell. I am sure you are aware of the Oracles, corerct?

BTW Jester, most of the terrain on Installation 004 won't constist of a town. Structures would be visible though, already built.

Jay: (Nods and looks at the other dead marines) "Some of the impact... it must have hit the wrong way. We have to keep moving..." (Looks up to see a Phantom coming) "Covie search parties... let's quickly get into a cave over there until it's done scouting!"

(( Meanwhile... ))

Thell: (Nods) "Of course."
