Alright people, it's that time again!

Checking your money, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was trying to rally in the last hour of trading for the week, but it just couldn&#39;t hold on. It was down 337 points to 8497. The Nasdaq was down 79 and the Standard and Portmans (S&P) was down an even 38 points.

President George W. Bush is strongly supporting a &#036;25 billion dollar plan in existing loans to help the Automotive Big 3, but quickly shot down the idea conjured up by the Democrats to take that money from &#036;700 billion dollar bailout.

President-elect Barack Obama won one of Nebraska&#39;s electoral votes today. It is the first time in 44 years that a Democrat has won the state of Nebraska. 138,892 to 135,567 was the final score in Nebraska. The state of Missouri is still too close to call at this point. Overall, Obama won the election with 365 electoral votes to Senator John McCain&#39;s 162.

Oil prices took a loss today on reports that not as much energy was consumed as was expected. Crude oil was down a whopping &#036;1.20 to close at &#036;57.04/barrel. This brings the national average of gas down to &#036;2.15/gallon as compared to July when it was &#036;4.11/gallon (AAA).
