That's hard because I would like to play as both of them because I want to pick up where KOTOR 2 left off but on the other hand I want to see what evil Revan went to fight.

Will there be an off-line story mode to build up your character so that you don't get noob-raped as soon as you spawn? Has anyone heard more about the development?

or, maybe you could upload your character from kotor I or II, and play as the exile you built up already.

I think there will be certain planets that are more suitable for n00bs so you'll b able to level up fast. I'm pretty sure that even though this is an MMO the main interation with other players i going to just be for trade. You will have companions who accompany you.

to answer lightside master: I feel more in touch with the exile but I never played KOTOR I. but I do believe that one press release mentioned it being set many years after the exile followed Revan into the unknown after whatever threat Revan kept secret about discovering. So, the only way you would play either would be as Kreia was in KOTOR II old and decrepit.

well, the MMO is actually not Knights of the Old Republic, its just Old Republic. and you're right, it's about 300 years after the Jedi Civil War. But if they made a KOTOR 3 RPG, then it should take place within a year or so of Revan's disappearance.

If they make KOTOR 3 then it should begin where KOTOR 2 leaves off. It should show the Eban Hawk leaving Malachor V heading for the Unknown Region of space.

I think you should play as the Exile as you go to find Revan and Bastila in the Unknown Region of space.
