You had people build and fight robots that had axes, hammers, blades and so on that would fight each other untill the other bot could not fight anymore.

American Gladiators was still awesome. The tried to bring it back, but it just didn't work. That's just because they tried to revamp it.

I wish George Lucas hadn't tried to "revamp" Star Wars in episodes I, II, and III. If he had kept the muppets and threw out all of the unnecessary special effects, it would have done twice as good at the box office.
