In the time of the Flood, did not God drown all who were evil in his sight? Why should we not do the same to protect the lifes of the innocent?

Or how about Joshua when they went into the land of Canaan, did not God instruct them to strike down all the Canaanites?

Look throughoiut the Bible, there are numerous accounts of such acts of soldiers! Did Joshua die by the sword? David even?

Should the guardian have the same fate as the murderer?

Starr that is a good point so I will have things to think about.

The more you tell me about the Marines the more I am thinking about joining. I was 80% for the Army and 20% for the Marines and now I am 50% for the Army and 50% for the Marines.

That is a very good point and I am leaning more towards the Marines everyday.

Jester and I just have a feeling... to fight for our country. To do what's right for the safety of this country.

And you're right... there's more to life than the military. But without a free country... we wouldn't be able to do anything.

I have wanted to join the military every since I was 5 years old and you will know if you are made to join the military because you just have a feeling  inside you. It is like you have a greater calling then just working in a factory or in my case on a farm. When I do join it is not going to be for 4 or 5 years it is going to be 20 years or more because after 20 years you can retire with half pay for the rest of you life. Their are to songs that I have song since I was little and I will only state a little of both below:
