Sweet! Long time man.

Yeah, she enjoys cartoons too, mostly good ole Winnie the Pooh, but she really enjoys NASCAR too. So it's fun to hang out with her and watch that on Sundays. cool

I haven't had a chance to read the Bane books, but I think it's the same author and he did a great job with it. It has a pretty surprising ending too.

A lot of people said they were disappointed with this book, but I disagree. I actually really liked it, especially Drew Karpyshyn's treatment of Revan's character post-KOTOR. He gave Revan a very balanced view of the Force that was more in line with the grey Jedi, and was completely believable since Revan had experienced life as a Jedi Knight and Sith Lord and knew the rights and wrongs of both. I'd definitely recommend this book to Knights of the Old Republic fans; just don't expect it to be a cast reunion for the first KOTOR game. It's a lot of backstory about Revan and Alek's fall to the darkside and his dreams in the game, but very well written.

This week Disney announced they were shutting down LucasArts as a video game production company. Instead it will only be a licensing model. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/arch … sarts.aspx
It's sad to see the company that brought great games like KOTOR, Battlefront, the Jedi Knight series, X-Wing, etc, go down like this. Hopefully Disney will see the strong fan base and recognize the need to continue licensing games through other developers. Who knows, we may even see Bioware develop KOTOR III cool (I can dream can't I?)

Thanks. I'm not sure whether I want a boy or a girl this time. A boy would be awesome, but I also really want to use the name "Shilo" for a girl, so either way would be fine with me. And they'll definitely grow up with Star Wars big_smile

I'm already indoctrinating my daughter with some of my hobbies a little bit. She likes to sit and watch NASCAR with me. I think the cars fascinate her, lol.

Cool, that sounds fun. Glad you're keeping busy. Our studio work changed a lot and I'm not working quite as much now, but trying to make the best of it. Found out we're gonna have another baby later this year, so that's exciting cool

Yeah I wasn't planning on playing Halo Wars. I got Reach cause I heard it had some really good multiplayer options and I wanted to play it with my wife (which she is actually kinda into). So far it's been fun. Love the sniper rifle! Also getting Mass Effect 1 today and gonna try to get into that series (even tho the ending sucks the first two games were supposed to be really good). Really want to get the second KOTOR game since my gaming computer died a while back and I only got to play that game through once.

Anyways...

So like 3 years after the fact I finally got around to buying an Xbox 360 and trying this game. It was really good. Level design, gameplay, sound track, story, it's all awesome. Only thing I have yet to try is multi-player, but that's next. Can't believe it took this long to get around to playing a game from this series, but I now understand why Starr liked it so much. Very fun game cool

I normally pull don't pull for the bad guys other than just enough to give the hero a good hard challenge. But....I'm reading through the Twilight series right now........and I would love to see the villain in the series rip off Edward's head and then suck Bella dry. mad

Haha, nice Starr. One thing I discovered while preparing for the review is that when Bay came on board as director, he actually insisted that the military subplot be added because what they had already was too silly. It would be interesting to see just how bad it was if Bay thought it was silly! Lol

I know that line from SW E:III about liberty dying to applause was kinda cheesy, but it can be true. Our representatives are cheering as our freedom is stripped away.
