Infiltration. It would have to be. Her ship didn't have enough firepower to take out a ship of that size... hell she couldn't even blast past its shields. And if she couldn't take out the shields then she couldn't possibly have an open shot at taking the engines out.

No. She'd have to trick her way onboard the Mandalorian capital ship. Kill it from the inside. Sabotage.

Rane's fingers dig into the ground as his body vibrates with fierce power. So much...! It felt so good! No... he had to resist... had to stop...

"Why do you fight it?"

Rane freezes, his blood turns cold, and the hair on the back of his neck stands on end. That... that voice. No! NO! It... couldn't be!

"Give into your rage, young pupil, let it flow through you and feed your power... kill the Jedi while you still have the chance!"

Rane shakes his head violently, shutting his eyes, trying to find the calm in his mind... but there was only chaos, confusion.

"You cannot resist your own being. This is who you are... what you are... a Jedi killer... He is trying to take her away from you: your one chance at redemption and he is stealing it from you! Kill him!"

Rane yells, the sound more animal than human. NO!

...Meanwhile...

Sara stands suddenly, worry in her voice. "Vector you have to leave now! Get away from me! Rane... doesn't trust you."

The hanger door dents as if someone of incredible strength punched it. Another dent. And then another dent. Sara looks at the hanger door then back at Vector, tears in her eyes.

"Go! He'll hurt you, kill you if he feels threatened! But he knows me... trusts me... I'll be fine."

The door to the hanger suddenly flies across the hanger, hitting the wall on the other side. In less than a parsec Rane is in front of Sara, facing Vector, using his body to shield her. Rane glares at Vector his eyes blood red and smoky as if ablaze.

He yells, the demonic sound echoing loudly in the hanger. Vector can see all Rane's muscles tensing, readying himself to attack.

"Vector..." Sara whispers through the Force. "Go."

Sara lays a gentle hand on Rane's shoulder and he turns on her, pressing her body against the nearest wall with his own. He growls.

Sara looks from Vector to the hanger door and then back to Vector. Rane's sudden surge of power was too strong to contain. He was fighting himself in one way or another and he was having to use everything he had. It was a dangerous game though. If she could feel Rane's power vibrating through the hanger she knew Vector could... and it was in a Jedi's every instinct to kill someone whose power screamed like Rane's did.

Sara had to act fast. Stop the inevitable. Vector's immediate response to Rane would be to kill him. But if Rane felt physically threatened -especially when his inner being was so unstable -the results would be devastating... for everyone involved. Rane was practically born to wreak havoc, destroy everything in his path, and above all: kill Jedi.

Granted he had left that part of his life behind a long time ago but that part of him was still there. That wild, untamable monster he managed to hold in such a fragile cage. At this rate, however, the cage wouldn't hold much longer. Rane had been exposed to the darkside, its raw power... after all there years. And he craved a kill.

She had to get him in the smallest room she could find... alone. Block everyone else and just be there till he wore himself out pacing back and forth. It had worked for her. Then again she wasn't Corlas, wasn't patient like he was. And Rane definitely wasn't her. He was far more dangerous. Still a plan was better than no plan.

"Vector," Sara whispers. "You have to leave..."

A'den B'an: pronunciation: AH-den b-ahn. Translation: "Wrath of All"

Bevik Be'choruk: pronunciation: BEH-veek beh-CHOHR-ook. Translation: "Sticks and Stones"

Fun Facts: smile

How "Sticks and Stones" got its name: You know the old saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"? Sticks and stones break your bones... the ship is named "Sticks and Stones". Get it? lol

---------------

Lori is escorted out of the conference Hall, towards an elevator leading to the lower decks. It broke her heart to see what the darkside had done to Alora. Her face was so pale and cracked in places like the dry, desert ground. Her eyes were the color of fire and yet so empty, so void of feeling... of anything. Dead. Just like the Alora she had once known.

Lori is shoved in the elevator, followed by the squad assigned to escort her. They all managed to fit into the elevator comfortably. The doors close and the journey down begins. Lori stares at the floor. Yes. That wasn't Alora she assures herself; comforts herself. Alora was the young, spirited Jedi that had befriended Lori in the Academy. That... person was someone different. Something different. That was Revan. A Sith. A monster.

The soldier beside Lori moves his hand to the small of her back. Lori glares at the soldier, the guard that had been standing at the door of the Conference Hall she remembers. She growls quietly. She was in no mood to be played with. But the soldier seems to be only interested in starring at the wall in front of him. Suddenly the elevator stops, sending everyone in the elevator off balance.

"What the hell?!" the captain yells. He fumbles with the elevator buttons, trying to get the machine back online but nothing. Everything is dead.

The lights in the elevator flicker and the hair on the back of Lori's neck stand on end. She feels a sharp chill as the soldier moves his hand from her back and grabs her arm, his hand deathly cold. She looks at him, this time more curious than anything. That touch seemed so... familiar. The soldier turns his head to look at her now. Those eyes...

The lights flicker again as the man's eyes seem to disappear, slowly replaced by the black soulless ones Lori remembers all too well. She struggles with all her might to get away from the monster she knows is crawling beneath the skin of the man beside her.

"Let me go!" Lori screams. She looks at the other soldiers frantically as they all turn to see what the ruckus is about. "We have to get out of here!"

The soldiers look at Lori, then at the man they think is their comrade. "Decora, is everything all right?" one of them asks, starring into his eyes.

Decora grins. The lights in the elevator go out and screams echo in the make-shift trap. The lights resume working only seconds later, the soldiers that had been escorting Lori now lifeless; their bodies spewed across the floor and walls of the elevator. Mortis uses his body to press Lori's against the nearest elevator wall. He licks the blood off his lengthened incisors.

"They thought they could take you from me... you thought you could run from me... but you can never... escape me..."

...Coruscant, Jedi Temple...

"Revan is the best fighter I've seen in a while, Master Jedi. No one, not even you, could best her very easily. She is far from dead. It is the Jedi that followed her to war that Xvan speaks of. It is so like a Sith. Turn or die," Akson adds somberly.

...Coruscant, unknown warehouse district...

The Sith pulls himself from the massive pile of rubble that had once been a warehouse. He stands and uses Force Push to clear away the dust hanging in the air around him. He smiles as he takes in the devastation caused by his earlier stunt. Warehouse after warehouse now nothing but piles of crumbled rock. It was a good start.

...unknown location...

He sits in the Force cell, calculating his options. Live with it? Hell no. Escape? He touches the Force collar around his neck. Ah, not likely. Death... optional. He releases a heavy sigh. Without his Force powers or a tool to use, however, his suicide plan didn't ha too great success rate. Unless he just pissed the witch off enough. She'd get tired of it eventually. Kill him. Another sigh.

No. She wouldn't. She needed him. Them. Or did she? He didn't understand anymore. She had gotten what she wanted hadn't she? Revan's fall was complete. The Republic would fall in the wake of her betrayal at Malachor V and the ones to come. It wouldn't be long now. Why then did she still need them? It didn't make sense.

Zorvon opens his eyes. Kilax was coming back... and boy was he pissed. The cell door begins to fade before quickly disappearing. Kilax is shoved inside by some unseen force and the cell wall quickly reappears. Daar moves to help his brother to his feet but the hardened Kovasn refuses the help and manages himself. He glares at Zorvon.

Zorvon understood, even without the words Kilax usually threw at him. He was supposed to be their leader... and he had gotten them into this whole mess. It was all his fault. He had been a fool, let his guard down and when he finally realized what was going on it was too late. The witch had the grip she needed. She turned comrade against comrade, brother against brother with the simplest flick of her wrist.

Damn Sith and their tricks. Kilax makes his way to his usual spot by the wall and plops down, his body worn and broken from whatever the witch had put him through. Daar goes back to leaning against the wall, banging his head against it occasionally while Rotel remains the silent observer. Zorvon shakes head. He couldn't handle this. Escape it was.

A'den B'an-class Heavy Destroyer Bevik Be'choruk, remnants of the Mandalorian Armada; near Malachor V...

It was all over. The Mandalorians had conquered hundreds of species, their empire spanned across thousands of worlds but in the blink of an eye Revan had crushed them. Finally, a foe worthy enough to challenge them. And they lost... The Mandalorians were defeated at their prime.

Canderous Ordo smiles himself. But the Mandalorians weren't truly defeated. Defeat simply gave them something to build on. It meant that when the Mandalorians returned- and they would- they would be even stronger.

Whether he was winning or not... that she couldn't tell. Sara glances at Vector and then at her hands, weaving a Force web around the hanger... to keep Rane's struggle from being broadcasted to Vector. If Vector even knew for one second who Rane was -had been, she corrects herself -Vector would kill him right then and there... or at least try to. She had to keep him busy.

"Can you?" Sara asks. "It's a better question to ask yourself. Everything seems so wrong. What happened... in the medicine hut... shouldn't have. I mean Rane..."

Sara looks at Vector with eyes that tell her life story: loss and betrayal. Suffering.

Rane tries to force himself to focus. Vector was on his side! ... Or was he? He felt the Jedi's conflicting emotions. Vector had been extremely hesitant about Rane joining their little "group". Never trusted him, always watched him... waiting for that moment. Just like he had.

All the sudden his memories become harsh reality. Rane growls beneath his breath. He had buried those memories -that part of him -a long time ago... in hopes of a new start. Forgiveness. But those dreams seemed to always be crashing down around him. Rane falls to his knees, mere feet away from the hanger doors, as tears sting his eyes.

He had hurt her! Above all, he had hurt her the most! He'd given everything for her and still he seemed damned to never find the forgiveness he sought. She said the words and still he felt empty inside... dead. His heart for the one of hers he'd broken over and over again.

Rane glances at the bag that still hangs from his hand. He had driven Rane to it all, this... this power had made him crazed and when he had walked away- for her- she had ended up paying the price. Now it seemed to be happening again.

The anger, the hate, everything. He couldn't stop the power flowing through his veins, or quiet the sudden awoken hunger. He was falling back again... breaking the promise he had made her bit by aching bit. No. No! He refused to hurt her again. Everything he did was for her.

He had to stop... for her...

...Meanwhile...

Sara looks at Vector, sensing his uneasiness at Rane's approach. She searches through the Force, to calm Rane. He was the extremely jealous type. Sara freezes suddenly, starring at the hanger doors with eyes that scream horror. She hadn't found Rane, but instead the all too familiar beast of rage. Could it be? Had he gone back? Broken his promise? No... she felt him, fighting for control. Fighting for her.

Skye answers Jason over the com: "Mandalorians are tricky little bastards. The capital ship isn't the largest or most heavily armored. That's what they want you to think. There... in the heart of the fleet. See that Dral Assault ship? That's our capital ship. Mandalore's ship. I'm going after it..."

Skye eyes the Mandalorian fleet, studying the formation, picking her target. She had to choose carefully, find the target that -if crippled -would hinder the entire armada... at least for a short period of time. Enough time so that the people of Cathar could be evacuated.

She uses the Force to scan through the fleet, searching lazily through each ship... there! She knew that touch, that power, that immense anger... She activates her ship's cloaking shield and heads towards the Dral-class Assault ship that rests within the core of the Mandalorian fleet.

...Downfall...

Revan lays her head on Alek's shoulder, releasing a heavy sigh. Her heart pounded so violently that Alek could feel the vibrations in his own chest. Revan was never vulnerable... never weak... until now.

"We won't make it in time, Alek... the Cathar... we won't be there to help them... the Republic won't be there to help them. No one..."

...Kote Te't, Mandalorian Armada; above Serroco...

Mandalore turns on his heels suddenly, wary of another presence; a Jedi. He throws up a quick wall to block any tricks or prying minds. He feels the Jedi come to an abrupt stop in their search, obviously surprised to find a Force-user among Mandalorians. Then the Jedi is gone. Mandalore growls and opens the door to his chambers.

Sara flinches away from Vector at the small movement before relaxing as she realizes he's only being sweet, caring.

She shakes her head. "I'm fine, Vector... thanks..."

...Meanwhile...

Rane growls again. That damn Jedi. Sara was his, damn it! His! Rane storms off towards the hanger. As he does Yi'shar notices the bag in his hand and the tainted faint red glow it emits.

A surge in the Force. A massive flow of power. Mortis searches for Revan, Malak... but no. This power was ancient... familiar it seemed. Mortis licks his lips, his teeth lengthening as he savors the appetizing flavor.

Such power could only come from a Force user of incredible strength. A Master. Mortis knew he should continue his search for Lori but the pull of his hunger was so strong. It'd been hundreds of years since he'd fed on a Jedi. Had new power.

No. He had to get Lori. If he came across the source of power he would indulge but the girl was his priority.

...Coruscant, unknown location...

The Sith assassin licks away the blood from his lip, grinning. He hadn't completed his mission but he had left his impact. The Jedi Council had lost some of their best and he had gained their power.

His hands clinch into fists, the energy vibrating through his veins. Yes! The power! His eyes turn pitch black and his teeth lengthen. The sudden focus of power causes a massive Force repulse, collapsing the warehouse and the buildings surrounding it.

...Coruscant, Jedi Temple...

Xvan shakes his head. "Turned or dead..."

Skye grins. "Keeping the Mandalorians busy... sounds like fun."

With that Skye seems to disappear for a second before reappearing on her ship's ramp. She walks up the ramp disappearing into her ship as the ramp closes. The assault ship's engines power up with a loud hum before it shoots out of the hanger at near breakneck speed.

...Downfall...

Revan tightens her arms around Alek's neck, her breath cold against his skin.

"We need to keep heading towards Cathar... the Mandalorians..." she whispers slowly. "Just... don't leave me..."

...Kote Te't, Mandalorian Armada; above Serroco...

Mandalore walks off the bridge, towards his personal chamber once more. He had great plans for this war... but so did she. She would make sure the Jedi weren't there to help the Republic when they needed them, would make sure the Republic would never rise again.

A war to be remembered indeed.

Sara shifts uncomfortablely. She felt so vulnerable, so weak. That same helpless girl she'd been all those years ago, unable to stop him from hurting her. She pulled her knees up to her chest, wiping the tears from her face.

"I'm fine," she answers slowly, shivering.

...Meanwhile...

Rane exits the Medicine Hut, blinking a few times so his eyes can adjust to the bright sunlight outside. He senses Yi'shar through the Force, a sudden dark instinct that causes his blood to run cold. It'd been so long since he'd killed a Jedi... so long. His heart beats faster as he steps towards the young Jedi. The poor boy jumps when Rane grabs his shoulder firmly. Rane hadn't even realized he had masked his presence until then.

He glares at Yi'shar. "Where's Sara?" he growls in a threatening tone.

I'm going to go ahead and apologize for some typos that may occur. Typing an entire story on a phone is not the easiest task. Trust me. It seems I also have a limit of characters. Anyway on with the story.
-----

But she did. Revan was still human after all. But that only made her weak. Malak's hand moves to his lightsaber as he takes in all the unfamiliar faces in the room. He refused to let anyone hurt Revan. He would take care of Lori. Kill her. Anything to make sure no one would even touch his Revan.

Malak blinks, trying to focus as his own emotions confuse him. He was a Sith. He should be lunging at the opportunity to exploit such a weakness in his "Master". Could it be that he still loves her? After all she's done? He shakes his head, concentrating. He would worry about that later. Right now all he knew was that he had to get rid of Lori, one way or another.

It was for his Revan after all. And he would do anything for her.

Destiny's Pawn, lower decks; hanger bay

Mortis easily maneuvers around the hanger bay in complete silence, his disguise of the Jedi intact. However, he would need a different one to get around the ship more easily. To get access to Lori. He waits patiently for a few moments, selecting his target carefully. He sneaks up behind the unsuspecting docking bay personnel and uses a quick mind trick to render the man unconscious.

Mortis drags the man's body into a secluded room and uses a Force web to lock the door and muffle any noise may come from his hiding spot. His mouth begins to water and his body shakes with fierce hunger as his nails quickly grow into claws, shredding through the man's flesh towards his heart.

Mortis's eyes turn a pitch black as he sinks his teeth into the heart of his still breathing victim, sucking the very life from him. The man gasps once and then stops breathing as Mortis continues to feed. After a while the ritual is over, the man's body nothing but pieces of ash. Mortis stands, clothing emerging over fresh new skin.

A new disguise.

Xvan seems to growl. "I do not know what you would call such an act but it was not battle. Revan was a coward and she betrayed us..."

...Destiny's Pawn, upper decks; Conference Hall...

So Revan was sending Lori back to Coruscant. Malak could understand why... to a point. He senses that Revan felt threatened by the girl, no matter how much she tried to hide her true feelings from Malak's prying mind. Lori was a Sith now... or was she? Her connecting to the Force seemed strangely silent. Dead almost. Her power no longer roared with life but lay dormant, sleeping it seemed. Waiting for the right moment to awaken and consume its unsuspecting prey.

Yes. That was it. Malak recognized the taint. A Sith had given Lori a taste of power, a chance to become something greater and far worse than anyone else. And yet she had refused. She had withstood temptation and she had said the price. She had left Malachor V a Jedi still, her old self intact. Thus when Revan's Mass Shadow Generator claimed those she had commanded, it shattered Lori to the core.

In order to silence their eternal screams in her mind, in order to preserve her own life, she had to break her bonds, her link to them all: the Force. So the lives of her friends, her companions, her soldiers, were all torn from her... a single person in one tragic moment. She was left empty. Void. A hole in the Force. Malak growls. Lori was extremely dangerous. A threat. Revan was making a smart move.

What he didn't understand is why she didn't just kill the damn girl; it would make things so much simpler. Lori walks into the room at that moment, escorted by a squad of Revan's best soldiers, and suddenly Malak understands. He glances at Revan as she stands. he ha known Revan and Lori were close but after the events that had transpired during the was he hadn't expected the cold person he'd come to know as Revan to feel any kind of love for anyone anymore... especially this woman.
