I'm a chick and I don't like him. But then again he is considerably younger than I am. I like men. Mature MEN; like hair on other places than their head kinda mature MEN style. With muscles. OMG, muscles are a MUST! I'm just a muscle-kinda girl.  wink

But I don't like those dudes who try to play off the "but I'm sensitive too" act. I've seen it way too many times and FAR better. I like my toughy Marine boys who know how to treat me right but put me in my place when it comes down to it. XD

So you think...

But the Sith are a difficult adversary. Throughout the ages we have proven ourselves mercilessly, power-hungry, insatable, unconquerable, and ever-persisting. We have shown ourselves to be mad, angry, hateful beings with a bloodlust unmatched save that of the Mandalorians.

Countless Jedi have succumbed to the darkside, reveling in what we offer; countless more have died by our blades. Who are you to name us? Who are you to judge us? Who are you... to stop us?

The Private shifts in his glistening white armor, rubbing a speck of dust off his shoulder. Watching out of the corner of his eye, the Sergeant shakes his head in disapproval. Cherry. f**king cherry. Never seen a drop of blood in his life.

He was sure in for a ride. A rampage had taken place throughout Coruscant in the earliest hours of the morning. Buildings had collapsed, people had been brutally murdered in animalistic fashions. It was chaos for the city's authorities.

A few of the victims had been completely drained of their blood, the medical examiners putting them aside. The medical examiners believed a second culprit was to be charged with their murders. The Sergeant doubted this.

Coruscant was full of murderers, drug dealers, thieves, bounty hunters, prostitutes, and other illegal activist but two serial killers acting at exactly the same time with almost identical killing patterns?

Fat chance. The criminal they were getting involved with was one sick puppy who liked to switch things up. Make things interesting. The Private bends over and pulls away the seal which was keeping a body inside cool for transportation. Weak stomach, as the Sergeant suspected.

The Private looses his lunch behind a nearby sign. Cherry.

...Destiny's Pawn; lower decks, hanger...

"Jediiii..." Mortis hisses. His eyes swirl into a blood colored red as he pushes Lori behind him, placing his body between the threat and his stolen treasure. "Mine," he growls.

Yi'shar knew this dark force was verbally capable but it seemed far too consumed with its primitve, dark hunger to concentrate on forming many words. Mortis lifts his right hand towards Yi'shar, black smoke swirling around it.

Yi'shar watches as a lightsaber barrel materializes from thin air. Mortis activates the lightsaber, the weapon's black blade screaming through the Force. Death. So much death. It was almost unbearable.

This... thing, this monster, was far older than anything Yi'shar had ever encountered before. It possibly dated back to before the Jedi. A life of hate, anger, and insatiable hunger spanning thousands upon thousands of years.

Whatever this creature was it was more Sith than it credited. It craved more death and more power. Right now Yi'shar was both a threat to Mortis's new-found lover and a potential victim to his life-draining vampirism. A prize if ever there were one.

Yi'shar could make no mistakes here. He either won... or he died.

There is a flash of light, a faint beeping sound indicating a transmition in Jason's fighter. It was from Master Vrook. No doubt a crucial message.

...Kote Te’t, Mandalorian Armada; above the burning Serroco…

A pair of Mandalorian heavy guards bring Skye onto the bridge, dragging the Jedi by the Force restraints digging into the flesh of her wrists. Kal'e. Mandalore's most prized soldiers. His personal guard. Movable knights in a petty game.

They knew their way around a Jedi but it wasn't them Skye's attention was focused on. She searched through the Force for the dark surge she felt whenever a drop of her blood hit the metal deck. No. Not the Kal'e. They were bloodthirsty but their craving was far different than that of the true monsters of the Mandalorian Army.

Skye turns her head slightly, just in time to catch a shift of movement in a darkened shadow across the room. Kov'arir. Head hunters. Jedi killers. Their sole purpose had driven the whole order insane in a matter of weeks, twisting them into far more corruptable beings than the Dark Lords of the Sith.

These monsters craved blood, not for the thrill of the kill. But for the thrill of the feast. It was food they craved. Jedi blood. An unquenchable thirst. The two Kal'e guards drop Skye at the feet of her captor Mandalore. She looks up at the war-hardened veteran, his face hidden behind the age-old mask he donned. He points at her, looking at the transmission screen.

"I know who she is, Jedi," his voice booms, amplified by his helmet. "I know what she's capable of..."

Master Vandar's gaze shifts to Skye, a slight frown not of disappoinment but of sympathy.

"You self-righteous Jedi, believing your troops are incorruptable..."

A flash of movement in the background. The Kov'arir appear for but a moment and disappear, nothing more than ghosts.

"Your Order is weak, so easily munipulated by a Mandalorian blade to their flesh. Call off your forces Jedi... or I will turn her against you."

...Downfall...

She was the monster? No. No! It was a trick, a Sith tool with which they hoped to twist her. She was a Jedi... one of the best. She would never turn. She couldn't. Without her the Republic would crumble.

Her nightmare switches to a different scene. Vast green plains, dotted with farmlands. Dantooine.

Sorry for the delay people. My life gets more and more frustrating and confusing everyday. Guess that's what I get for being a Marine. lol

Rane falls to the ground, holding Sara in his arms. The world around them seems to crackle with the haunting laugh that vibrates around them.

"It is through! She's dead! She's finally dead! And killed by your own hand no less! Where is your honor now Jedi?!" The unseen villian stresses the last word with abhorance and disgust.

Rane roars towards the sky, emitting a shockwave which sends Yi'shar to his knees. "You bastard!" Rane roars. "I'll KILL you for this! I'll SLAUGHTER you, you son of a b**ch!"

Though there is no visible entity, there is a smile in the voice. "You may certainly try..."

And with that the voice is gone, leaving only destruction, death, and turmoil in its wake. Rane looks down at Sara, blood tears rolling down his face. Another sign of the horrors and torture he endured as a student of the Sith.

Sara reaches up, gently wiping away the tears. Rane leans into her palm, desperate for the simple touch.

"I'm... *cough* I'm sorry... Rane... *cough*" blood trails from the corner of Sara's mouth, trinkling down her neck.

Rane shakes his head but Sara cotinues. "I'm sorry... it had to end *cough* like this..."

Rane closes his eyes on a rush of pain. "It's not... over, Sara. I won't let you die. Not while I'm breathing."

Rane gets to his feet, picking Sara up in his arms, cradling her. He walks towards an unmarked ship. Obviously not the one Vector and them had arrived on.

Rane, surprised that a Jedi would know such a dangerous darkside technique, has no time to block or counter Vector's attack. He groans, trying to pull away as his body is consumed by the rippling lightning. His body, however, refuses to move under the intensifying power that coarses through his veins.

"Foolish Jedi!" he roars. "You'll kill us both!"

Sara gathers enough strength to break free of her forced paralysis. She rushes forward towards Rane and Vector in a desperate attempt to save both men from each other as well as themselves. She had to try. She uses the Force to protect herself, wrapping her arms around Rane's neck, trying to comfort him. Calm him. She rests her head near the nap of his neck, his power muscles shivering under the contact that seemed to burn.

"Rane... please..." she whispers.

Vector watches as Rane calms for a moment, his tense muscles loosening, the intense hate in his eyes slowly disappearing. Suddenly, everything changes with an intense surge of power. And Vector was helpless to prevent the evil intentions that he saw in Rane's eyes.

With a roar of anger Rane gathers his strength, pulling away from Vector. He pulls Vector's lightsaber to him with the Force and turns on Sara. Everything stops. The universe quiets as if starring in awe at such horror. Rane stands with Sara, her hands clutching his forearms for support, pain and betrayal in her eyes, tears running down her face and a blazing lightsaber through her stomach.

Rane immediately deactivaetes the lightsaber, letting Sara fall into his arms.

"Sara...?" Rane asks, his voice wavering.
